Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity
On the authority of Thawban, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
The best dinar a man can spend
A dinar that he spends on his family
And a dinar that a man spends on his animal for the sake of God
And a dinar that he spends on his companions for the sake of God
Narrated by Muslim
Abu Qalabah said
And he started with the children
What greater man has rewarded?
From a man who spends on young children
He pardons them
Or God will benefit them and enrich them
