00:00:00.000 --> 00:00:05.280
Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity.

00:00:05.280 --> 00:00:09.839
On the authority of Thawban, may Allah be pleased with him, who said:

00:00:09.839 --> 00:00:14.000
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

00:00:14.000 --> 00:00:17.199
The best dinar a man spends

00:00:17.199 --> 00:00:20.719
is a dinar he spends on his dependents,

00:00:20.719 --> 00:00:26.320
a dinar a man spends on his mount in the way of Allah,

00:00:26.559 --> 00:00:32.210
and a dinar he spends on his companions in the way of Allah.

00:00:32.210 --> 00:00:35.579
Narrated by Muslim.

00:00:35.579 --> 00:00:37.579
Abu Qilabah said:

00:00:37.579 --> 00:00:39.899
He began with the dependents.

00:00:39.899 --> 00:00:42.539
And what man has a greater reward

00:00:42.539 --> 00:00:46.060
than a man who spends on young dependents,

00:00:46.060 --> 00:00:47.420
keeping them chaste,

00:00:47.420 --> 00:00:51.100
or through whom Allah benefits them and enriches them?
