“They say: Surely, if we return to Al-Madinah the mightier will soon drive out the weaker; when might belongeth to Allah and to His messenger and to the believers; but the hypocrites know not.” (63:8)

And He, Glorified, says:

“Faint not nor grieve, for ye will overcome them if ye are (indeed) believers.” (3:139)

And the source of ascendancy over falsehood

is faith in Allah, the Mighty and Majestic,

and submission to His command.

And because falsehood is the opposite of what Allah wills,

the truth prevails and nothing prevails over it.

And the truth is enduring,

while falsehood is vanishing, by the promise of Allah the Almighty, Who says:

“He sendeth down water from the sky, so that valleys flow according to their measure, and the flood beareth (on its surface) swelling foam - from that which they smelt in the fire in order to make ornaments and tools riseth a foam like unto it - thus Allah coineth (the similitude of) the true and the false. Then, as for the foam, it passeth away as scum upon the banks, while, as for that which is of use to mankind, it remaineth in the earth. Thus Allah coineth the similitudes.” (13:17)

nor a surging pride,

nor a reckless, impetuous fervor.

Rather, it is the ascendancy based on truth,

the established truth at the core of existence,

upon which the heavens and the earth were established.

The enduring truth that transcends the logic of power

and the customs of people,

because it is connected to the Living Allah, Who does not die.
