In a battle called the Battle of Tabuk, it was also known as the Battle of Al-Asra
Due to the difficulty and severity of the circumstances in which it occurred
Due to the intense heat, lack of water, remoteness of the place, and lack of money and animals
Despite the difficulty and severity of this raid, his companions responded to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
So they fled to jihad quickly, walking in the vast desert between the intense heat and the rugged road
As for me, I failed to accompany the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions
Whenever I walked in the streets of the city, I would find there nothing but a hypocrite with known hypocrisy
Or excused from those whom God has excused
So I returned to my family on a hot day and found two of my women in their sheds in our garden
Each one of them sprinkled her nest, cooled the water for me, and prepared food for me there
When I stood at the gate of Al-Arish, I looked at my wife and what she had done for me
So I said to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in the sun, the wind, and the heat
I am in cool shade, prepared food, and a good woman
This is not half, by God, I will not enter Arish with any of you until I join the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
So he prepared me some provisions, so I did so, then I mounted my mount and went out in search of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace.
On the way, I met Umayr bin Wahb, may God be pleased with him, who was seeking the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
So we accompanied us until when we approached Tabuk, I said to Umair bin Wahb that I had committed a sin
You do not have to lag behind me until I come to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
He did so until I approached the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, while he was staying in Tabuk
The people said: This is a rider on the road coming, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Be the father of so-and-so, meaning me. They said, O Messenger of God, he is, by God, the father of so-and-so
When my camel gave birth, I went and greeted the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
Aulalak said to me, “Which piece will perish?” so I told the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, my news
He said good to me and prayed for me to be well, so who am I?
