The Sunnahs of the Prophet are firmly established:
Beautifying one's voice when reciting the Qur'an.
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him),
that he heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say:
"Allah does not listen to anything
as He listens to a Prophet with a beautiful voice who chants the Qur'an,
reciting it aloud."

The word *adhina* means "listened."
