In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammar Surat Al-Tahrim In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful O Prophet, why do you prohibit what God has made lawful for you? You want to please your husbands God is Forgiving and Merciful O Prophet, who deprives himself of what God has made lawful for him He thus seeks to please his wives You have not deprived yourself of what God has made lawful for you By forbidding this, you seek the well-being of your husbands It was what the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade for himself Something that God had made lawful for him It is possible that this could be his slave girl It may be a drink It may be otherwise But that was it It was prohibiting something that was lawful for him So God blamed him for forbidding for himself what he had made lawful for him And God is Forgiving, O Muhammad, for the sins of those of His servants who repent of their sins You have been forgiven for forbidding yourself what God has made lawful for you He is Merciful to His servants to punish them for the sins they repented of after repentance God has imposed on you the permissibility of your oaths I swear to God, your Lord He is the All-Knowing, the Wise God Almighty has made clear to you the solution of your oaths And he limited it to you, people And God, your Master, will protect you with His victory, O believers He knows your interests He is wise in his management of you He directed you to what he knew best When the Prophet confided a recent story to some of his wives When I was informed of it and God revealed it to him, he recognized some of it and turned away from some of it When he told her about it, she said, “Who told you this?” He said: The All-Knowing, the All-Aware informed me When the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, confided a recent story to some of his wives She is Hafsa And the hadith that was confided to her It is what he has forbidden to himself, which God has made lawful for him And he swore to that And he said, "Don't mention that to anyone." When she was informed of the hadith that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, confided to her, her companion Aisha God revealed to His Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, that she had informed her companion of this The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, introduced some of that hadith to Hafsa and told her about it He left to tell her some When Hafsa told the Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, what God had revealed to him From her revealing the secret of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, to Aisha Hafsa said to the Messenger of God, “Who told you this news and told you about it?” Muhammad, the Prophet of God, said to Hafsa The All-Knowing informed me of the secrets of His servants and the consciences of their hearts. The One who is All-Aware of their affairs, from whom nothing is hidden. If you repent to God, then your hearts have been willing, but if you agree to do so, then God is his master, and Gabriel, and the best of the believers and the angels after That is dahir The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace From prohibiting what was lawful for him, which he prohibited for himself For God is his guardian and helper against them and against all who wronged him. Gabriel is also his guardian and helper. The best of the believers is also his master and helper. The angels are with Gabriel and the righteous of the believers The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, has helpers against those who harm him and want to harm him Perhaps his Lord, if he divorces Ken, will replace him with wives better than Ken Like Muslim, believing women, obedient, repentant, worshiping women, married women and virgins. Perhaps the Lord of Muhammad, if he divorces, be so, O community of wives of Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace To replace him with better wives than others Submissive to God through obedience, believing in God and His Messenger, obedient to God Returning to what God loves in them, such as obedience to Him, and what He hates in them Women worshipers who submit to God through obedience and fast We have parted ways and their virginity has gone And the firstborn did not have intercourse and were not separated O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from the Fire A fire whose fuel is people and stones, over which are powerful angels Over them are fierce and severe angels who do not disobey God in what He commands them and do what they are commanded. O you who have believed God and His Messenger Teach one another what you can do to protect yourself from the Fire And you pay it for him if he does it out of obedience to God They worked in obedience to God Teach your families to do obedience to God and protect themselves from Hell The wood that burns this fire The sons of Adam and sulfur stones On this fire are angels of God It is harsh for the people of Hell, and severe for them They do not disobey God in what He commands them to do They end up doing what their Lord commands them to do O you who disbelieved, do not apologize today You will only be rewarded for what you used to do O you who deny the oneness of God Don't apologize today That will be the Day of Resurrection You will only be rewarded and given a reward for the deeds that you did in this world Do not ask for excuses from her O you who have believed, repent to God in sincere repentance Repent to God in sincere repentance Perhaps your Lord will atone for you your sins Perhaps your Lord will atone for you your sins And He will admit you to gardens beneath which rivers flow The day when God will not disgrace the Prophet The day when God will not disgrace the Prophet And those who believed with him Their light seeks in their hands And with their faith they say, “Our Lord, complete our light for us.” They say, “Our Lord, perfect our light for us and forgive us.” You are powerful over everything O you who have believed God and His Messenger Repent to God He says Return from your sins to obedience to God We will return to what pleases Him for you, from which you will never return Perhaps your Lord, O believers, will erase the bad deeds of your past deeds And He will bring you into gardens under which rivers flow The day when God will not disgrace the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and those who believe with him Their light seeks before them, and their faith is their book They ask their Lord to preserve their light for them He does not turn it off until he has passed the path That is when the hypocrites, both male and female, say to those who believe Look at us quoting from your light And cover our sins for us And do not disgrace us by punishing us for it He has the power to enlighten us and forgive our sins O Prophet, strive hard against the infidels and hypocrites and be angry with them Their abode is Hell, and a miserable destination O Prophet, fight the infidels with the sword And the hypocrites with threats and tongues And stress them in the essence of God And their abode is hell Their fate is the fire of hell And wretched is the place to which Hell becomes God has provided an example for those who disbelieve Noah's wife and Lot's wife She was under two of our righteous servants So they betrayed them But they were of no avail to God It was said that he entered Hell with those who entered God is like an example to those who disbelieve from among people and to the rest of creation Noah's wife and Lot's wife She was under two of our slaves So they betrayed them It was mentioned that Noah's wife betrayed her husband She was an infidel She used to tell people he was crazy And the betrayal of Lot's wife That Lot pleased the guest And indicate it Noah and Lot were of no avail to God about their wives When he punished them for cheating on their husbands in any way It would not benefit them if their wives were prophets And God said to them on the Day of Resurrection Enter, O women, the fire of hell with those who enter it And God gave an example to those who believed of Pharaoh’s wife When she said, “Lord, build me a house with You in Paradise.” And save me from Pharaoh and his deeds And save me from the wrongdoing people God set an example for those who believe in God and believe in His unity Pharaoh's wife who believed in God and was united And I believed His Messenger Moses She is under an enemy of God, an infidel Her husband's infidelity did not harm her Because she believed in God It was God’s decree for His creation That no female servant should bear the burden of another And every soul has what it has earned When she said, “Lord, build me a house with You in Paradise.” So God responded to her and built a house for her in Paradise And save me from the torment of Pharaoh It is for me to do his work This is his disbelief in God Save me and save me from the actions of the people who disbelieve in you and from their torment And Mary, the daughter of Imran, who protected her chastity So we breathed into him of our spirit She believed in the words of her Lord and His books She was one of the obedient ones And God sets an example for those who believe Maryam, daughter of Imran, who protected her chastity The one who was prevented from pocketing her armor, Gabriel, peace be upon him, says So we breathed into the pocket of her shield from Gabriel, who is the spirit And I believed in Jesus and Jesus And I believed in his books, meaning the Torah and the Gospel She was one of the obedient people Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
