contradict ‘Isa in his saying: 00:03:11.330 --> 00:03:13.210 "Indeed, I am the servant of Allah." 00:03:13.210 --> 00:03:16.009 And those who claim his agreement [with their false beliefs]. 00:03:16.009 --> 00:03:18.129 "He has given me the Scripture," 00:03:18.129 --> 00:03:21.370 meaning, He decreed that He would give me the Scripture, 00:03:21.370 --> 00:03:23.569 "and made me a prophet." 00:03:23.569 --> 00:03:26.370 So he informed them that he is the servant of Allah, 00:03:26.370 --> 00:03:29.050 and that Allah taught him the Scripture, 00:03:29.050 --> 00:03:32.250 and made him one of His prophets. 00:03:32.250 --> 00:03:35.169 This is from his perfection for himself. 00:03:35.169 --> 00:03:38.729 Then he mentioned his perfecting of others, saying: 00:03:38.729 --> hath made me blessed wheresoever I may be, and hath enjoined upon me prayer and almsgiving so long as I remain alive,” (19:31) 00:04:08.389 --> 00:04:11.629 Meaning, He enjoined upon me the --> 00:05:20.180 because the speech of a child in the cradle is not customary 00:05:20.180 --> 00:05:21.579 among humans, 00:05:21.579 --> 00:05:26.540 except in the case of a miracle and a sign from built a hermitage and worshipped in it." 00:06:09.449 --> 00:06:14.689 He said: "One day, the Children of Israel mentioned the worship of Jurayj. 00:06:14.689 --> 00:06:17.009 A prostitute among them said, 00:06:17.009 --> 00:06:19.689 'If you wish, I will tempt him.' 00:06:19.689 --> 00:06:22.529 They said, 'We wish.' 00:06:22.529 --> 00:06:26.129 He said: 'She came to him and exposed herself to him, 00:06:26.129 --> 00:06:28.449 but he did not pay any attention to her. 00:06:28.449 --> 00:06:30.649 So she offered herself to a shepherd 00:06:30.649 --> 00:06:34.810 who used to shelter his sheep at the base of Jurayj's hermitage. 00:06:34.810 --> 00:06:37.850 She became pregnant and gave birth to a boy. 00:06:37.850 --> 00:06:39.850 They asked, 'From whom?' 00:06:39.850 --> 00:06:42.329 She said, 'From Jurayj.' 00:06:42.329 --> 00:06:44.649 They came to him, brought him down, 00:06:44.649 --> 00:06:46.649 insulted him, beat him, 00:06:46.649 --> 00:06:48.769 and demolished his hermitage. 00:06:48.810 --> 00:06:51.009 He said, 'What is the matter with you?' 00:06:51.009 --> 00:06:54.889 They said, 'You committed adultery with this prostitute, 00:06:54.889 --> 00:06:56.930 and she gave birth to a boy.' 00:06:56.930 --> 00:06:59.370 He said, 'Where is he?' 00:06:59.370 --> 00:07:02.129 They said, 'There he is.' 00:07:02.129 --> 00:07:05.889 He stood up, prayed, and supplicated, 00:07:05.889 --> 00:07:07.970 then he went to the boy, 00:07:07.970 --> 00:07:09.930 poked him with his finger, 00:07:09.930 --> 00:07:13.129 and said, 'By Allah, O boy, 00:07:13.129 --> 00:07:14.689 who is your father?' 00:07:14.689 --> 00:07:17.769 He said, 'I am the son of the shepherd.' 00:07:17.769 --> 00:07:19.649 They rushed to Jurayj, 00:07:19.649 --> 00:07:21.850 and began to kiss him, 00:07:21.850 --> 00:07:25.930 and said, 'We will build your hermitage out of gold.' 00:07:25.930 --> 00:07:29.410 He said, 'I have no need for that. 00:07:29.410 --> 00:07:32.850 Build it out of mud as it was.' 00:07:32.850 --> 00:07:38.290 He said: 'While a woman was holding her son in her lap, nursing him, 00:07:38.290 --> 00:07:41.370 a rider of noble appearance passed by her. 00:07:41.370 --> 00:07:45.930 She said, 'O Allah, make my son like him.' 00:07:46.850 --> 00:07:49.810 He left her breast and turned to the rider, 00:07:49.810 --> 00:07:54.399 and said, 'O Allah, do not make me like him.' 00:07:54.399 --> 00:07:58.889 He said: 'Then he returned to her breast and began to suckle.' 00:07:58.889 --> 00:08:00.689 Abu Hurayrah said: 00:08:00.689 --> 00:08:05.329 'It his finger in his mouth, 00:08:10.009 --> 00:08:12.230 and he began to suck it.' 00:08:12.230 --> 00:08:14.870 'Then a slave girl passed by, being beaten. 00:08:14.910 --> 00:08:19.750 She said, 'O Allah, do not make my son like her.' 00:08:19.750 --> 00:08:23.629 He said: 'He left her breast and turned to the slave girl, 00:08:23.629 --> 00:08:28.370 and said, 'O Allah, make me like her.' 00:08:28.370 --> 00:08:32.529 He said: 'That is when they discussed the matter.' 00:08:32.529 --> 00:08:36.690 She said, 'A rider of noble appearance passed by, 00:08:36.690 --> 00:08:40.570 and I said, 'O Allah, make my son like him,' 00:08:40.570 --> 00:08:44.809 and you said, 'O Allah, do not make me like him.' 00:08:44.850 --> 00:08:47.850 And this slave girl passed by, and I said, 00:08:47.850 --> 00:08:51.090 'O Allah, do not make my son like her,' 00:08:51.090 --> 00:08:55.250 and you said, 'O Allah, make me like her.' 00:08:55.250 --> 00:08:58.250 He said, 'O mother, 00:08:58.250 --> 00:09:02.649 the rider of noble appearance is a tyrant among the tyrants, 00:09:02.649 --> 00:09:05.809 and this slave girl, they say she committed adultery, 00:09:05.809 --> 00:09:07.250 but she did not commit adultery, 00:09:07.250 --> 00:09:08.370 and they say she stole, 00:09:08.370 --> 00:09:09.970 but she did not steal, 00:09:09.970 --> 00:09:13.330 and she says, 'Allah is sufficient for me.''" 00:09:13.370 --> 00:09:16.320 Narrated by Ahmad and al-Bukhari. 00:09:16.320 --> 00:09:18.600 The speech of ‘Isa in the cradle 00:09:18.600 --> 00:09:21.279 is a sign signs of Allah, 00:09:34.950 --> 00:09:38.549 which Allah made as a miracle for Jurayj the devout, 00:09:38.549 --> 00:09:40.309 indicating his innocence 00:09:40.350 --> 00:09:43.669 from what was attributed to him of adultery with the prostitute. 00:09:43.669 --> 00:09:46.029 It is an indication of Allah's support 00:09:46.029 --> 00:09:49.379 for His allies and His defense of them. 00:09:49.379 --> 00:09:52.460 And the speech of the infant with his mother 00:09:52.460 --> 00:09:54.820 is a sign from the signs of Allah, 00:09:54.820 --> 00:09:57.299 which Allah made as a lesson for us, 00:09:57.299 --> 00:10:00.419 so that we weigh matters with their legal scale, 00:10:00.419 --> 00:10:03.539 and not be deceived by glittering appearances, 00:10:03.539 --> 00:10:05.179 and so the mother may learn 00:10:05.179 --> 00:10:09.370 how to direct her wishes for her child. 00:10:10.370 --> 00:10:14.129 For the details of the story of Maryam, peace be upon her, 00:10:14.129 --> 00:10:18.809 were not known by many of the rabbis of the Jews and the Christians. 00:10:18.809 --> 00:10:23.129 It is from the unseen which Allah, the Glorified and Exalted, revealed 00:10:23.129 -->
