The Battle of Hunayn
The Battle of Hunayn took place in Shawwal in the eighth year of the Hijra
Al-Hafiz said in Al-Fath
The people of Al-Maghazi said
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, went to Hunayn
I have not missed Shawwal
And it was said
For the remaining two nights of Ramadan
And collect some of them
He started going out at the end of Ramadan
It was the sixth of Shawwal
He arrived there on the tenth
Imam bin Al-Qayyim said
God Almighty opened the Battle of the Arabs
In the Battle of Badr
Their invasion was concluded with the Battle of Hunayn
It would be better to frighten them and break their limits
The second one exhausted their strength
Their arrows were exhausted and their crowd humiliated
Until they found no alternative to entering into the religion of God
The reason for the invasion
When Hawazin heard about the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
And what God conquered from Mecca
Collected by Malik bin Awfan Al-Nasri
So he gathered with all of Hawazin Thaqif
Nasr and Geshem all gathered together
And Saad bin Bakr
And people from Bani Hilal
And among the Banu Jashm, Duraid bin Al-Samah
A great sheikh
There is nothing in it except the right time, in his opinion
And his knowledge of war
He was an experienced old man
The affairs of the people were handed over to Malik bin Awfan Al-Nasri
They decided to fight the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
When he had gathered, he went to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
People destroyed their money, their women and their children
When he came down to Awtas
People gathered to him
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent Abdullah bin Abi Hadard, may God be pleased with him
When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, heard about them
Abdullah bin Abi Hadrad, may God be pleased with him, sent them
To bring him their news
Al-Hakim narrated in Al-Mustadrak and Al-Bayhaqi on the evidence of prophecy with a good chain of transmission
On the authority of Jaber bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with them both, he said
Collected by Malik bin Awfan Al-Nasri
From Bani Nasr and Jashm
And from Saad bin Bakr
And Awzaa from Bani Hilal
And people from Bani Omar bin Asim bin Awf bin Amer
Thaqif al-Ahlaf and Banu Malik were sent with them
Then he walked with them to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
He walked with money, women and children
When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, heard about them
Abdullah bin Abi Hadardan sent Al-Aslamiya, may God be pleased with him
And he said
Go and join the people
So teach us who taught them
So he entered
He stayed with them for a day or two
Then he came and told him the news
The departure of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, to Hunayn
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, left Mecca
That was after he finished opening it
Things were smoothed out
He converted most of its people to Islam and released them
Heading to fight Hawazin and those with them
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, walked to them
In the ten thousand who were with him in the conquest
Two thousand free men from the people of Mecca
Most of them are new to Islam
Islam could not conquer their hearts
Some of the masters of Mecca witnessed it with him
Like Safwan bin Umayyah
He was still a polytheist
Suhail bin Omar and others
The two sheikhs narrated it in their Sahihs
On the authority of Anas bin Malik, may God be pleased with him, he said
When it was a day of nostalgia
Hawazin and Ghatafan came with their offspring and blessings
And with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, at that time, there were ten thousand
And with him are the freedmen
He was the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
It is feared that Muslims will be deceived by their number and admire their abundance
This actually happened in the text of the Qur’an
And God Almighty said
God has given you victory in many situations
On the day of Hunayn, when your abundance pleased you, it was of no use to you
So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, wanted to explain it to them
That does not avail them of anything before God
By giving a proverb that happened to one of the prophets with his people
Imam Ahmad narrated it in his Musnad with an authentic chain of transmission
On the authority of Suhaib, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was moving his lips during the days of Hunayn
Something he had never done before
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Indeed, there was a prophet among those before you whose nation admired him
He said: These people will not want anything
So God revealed to him that he gave them the choice between one of three
Either I will give power over them to an enemy from among others who will make them permissible
Or hunger or death
They said: Either death or starvation
We have no power over it but death
He died in seventy-three thousand
He said, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
So I say now, O God, by You I try, by You I originate, and by You I fight
A tree of sorts
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, passed by
He is on his way to Hunain
By a tree for polytheists, it is said that it has different types
It was narrated by Imam Ahmad and Al-Tirmidhi with an authentic chain of transmission
On the authority of Abu Waqid Al-Laythi, may God be pleased with him, he said
They left Mecca with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, to Hunayn
He said that the infidels had a sidra that they used to devote themselves to
They attach their weapons to it
They are called the same types
We passed a great green sidra
So we said, O Messenger of God
Give us the same types
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
You said, “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul,” just as the people of Moses said
Make for us a God as they have gods
He said, "You are an ignorant people."
It is the Sunnah
You will follow the traditions of those before you year by year
