WEBVTT 00:00:00.180 --> 00:00:08.859 A summary of the concepts held by the Ahl al-Sunnah. 00:00:08.859 --> 00:00:14.859 Forming alliances with tyrannical regimes and the danger this poses to steadfastness. 00:00:14.859 --> 00:00:19.410 Some preachers or Islamic groups believe, 00:00:19.410 --> 00:00:27.410 due to the pressures and trials faced by the youth of the Islamic awakening and its figures, and the delay in seeing results, 00:00:27.410 --> 00:00:32.409 that they should build bridges with regimes that have abandoned ruling by the law of Allah, the Almighty and Majestic. 00:00:32.409 --> 00:00:43.409 And that alliances should be formed with nationalist or secular parties for joint action in the interest of the Ummah and the nation, and to fight a common enemy. 00:00:43.409 --> 00:00:52.409 Based on this, the Muslim preacher stands side-by-side with the secularist, the nationalist, or the Rafidi, 00:00:52.409 --> 00:00:59.409 in the same assemblies, known as parliamentary, popular, or national councils. 00:00:59.409 --> 00:01:06.409 In these councils, concessions regarding the truth and its fundamental principles begin, the first of which is, 00:01:06.409 --> 00:01:12.409 acknowledging and consenting to enter these councils that legislate laws other than those of Allah. 00:01:12.409 --> 00:01:16.409 Those who enter them swear an oath to respect them. 00:01:16.409 --> 00:01:25.409 Here, the goal of the preachers shifts from striving to dismantle these disbelieving councils to becoming pillars of them. 00:01:25.409 --> 00:01:29.409 This is sufficient as a form of misguidance and humiliation for the people. 00:01:29.409 --> 00:01:38.409 The most dangerous aspect of these practices is the destruction of the doctrine of loyalty and disavowal (al-wala' wa al-bara') and the dilution of the fundamental principles of this religion. 00:01:38.409 --> 00:01:46.439 The fact that preachers fall into these errors brings joy to the heads of the tyrants and the icons of ignorance (jahiliyyah). 00:01:46.439 --> 00:01:54.439 When they grow weary of methods of oppression, brutality, and imprisonment—which often only solidify adherence to the call— 00:01:54.439 --> 00:01:57.439 they offer the preachers something even more dangerous. 00:01:57.439 --> 00:02:02.439 It is an attempt to contain them through enticement and false promises. 00:02:02.439 --> 00:02:05.439 The jahiliyyah announces to the Islamists: 00:02:05.439 --> 00:02:11.439 "Go ahead, work for Islam through the state's institutions and its councils." 00:02:11.439 --> 00:02:15.439 And here, the nets ensnare those who are susceptible, 00:02:15.439 --> 00:02:21.439 those who attempt to cover these concessions with some pseudo-legal justifications, 00:02:21.439 --> 00:02:25.439 such as their claim of preserving the concepts of Sharia, 00:02:25.439 --> 00:02:30.439 or at times by arguing that legal rulings (fatwas) change with changing circumstances, 00:02:30.439 --> 00:02:34.439 or by citing necessity and the removal of hardship, 00:02:34.439 --> 00:02:40.439 or by saying, "We want to pull the rug out from under the feet of the jahiliyyah." 00:02:40.439 --> 00:02:47.439 They justify all of this by claiming wisdom and consideration of reality and surrounding circumstances. 00:02:47.439 --> 00:02:52.569 Yet, the Almighty and Majestic said to His Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him: 00:02:52.569 --> 00:02:59.569 “And (O Muhammad) follow that which is inspired in thee, and forbear until Allah give judgment. Allah's promise is the very truth, and let not those who have no certainty make thee impatient.” (30:60) 00:03:16.699 --> 00:03:22.699 When the proponents of democracy and entering into alliances with the enemies of the religion were confronted, 00:03:22.699 --> 00:03:29.699 they began searching the Sharia for dubious evidence to justify their actions, 00:03:29.699 --> 00:03:36.699 such as citing the Prophet's, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, alliance with the tribe of Khuza'ah while they were polytheists, 00:03:36.699 --> 00:03:44.699 or his alliance in the document he wrote upon his arrival in Medina with the Jews for mutual defense. 00:03:44.699 --> 00:03:50.699 They also cited Joseph, peace be upon him, taking charge of the storehouses of wealth in the government of the King of Egypt, 00:03:50.699 --> 00:03:55.699 which was a disbelieving government, and he even became a high-ranking official within it. 00:03:55.699 --> 00:04:03.729 All of these pieces of evidence are fallacious and unsuitable for argumentation because the contexts are completely different. 00:04:03.729 --> 00:04:10.729 In the cases they cited, the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was the leader whose command was obeyed. 00:04:10.729 --> 00:04:17.730 Those who allied with him from among the Jews or polytheists were under his command, and he was the stronger party. 00:04:17.730 --> 00:04:23.730 Whereas those who form alliances with them today do so from a position of weakness, and the same applies to the case of Joseph, peace be upon him. 00:04:23.730 --> 00:04:27.730 For he was the one who commanded, forbade, and held authority. 00:04:27.730 --> 00:04:31.759 Whereas in the contemporary situations they cite, 00:04:31.759 --> 00:04:36.759 the strong party consists of the tyrants and the disbelieving regimes, 00:04:36.759 --> 00:04:42.759 while the Islamists are the weak party that possesses neither command nor prohibition. 00:04:42.759 --> 00:04:47.759 Thus, the analogy here is corrupt and lacks its fundamental pillars.
