00:00:00,850 --> 00:00:03,850
A hadith and commentary.

2
00:00:03,850 --> 00:00:08,800
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:

3
00:00:08,800 --> 00:00:13,179
"Whoever recites Ayat al-Kursi after every prayer,

4
00:00:13,179 --> 00:00:18,179
nothing prevents him from entering Paradise except death."

5
00:00:18,179 --> 00:00:20,179
Commentary:

6
00:00:20,179 --> 00:00:23,309
This hadith has been authenticated by a group of scholars,

7
00:00:23,309 --> 00:00:26,309
among them the brilliant young hadith master,

8
00:00:26,309 --> 00:00:28,309
Muhammad Ibn 'Abd al-Hadi,

9
00:00:28,309 --> 00:00:31,440
a student of Ibn Taymiyyah.

10
00:00:31,440 --> 00:00:34,439
Imam Ibn al-Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, said:

11
00:00:34,439 --> 00:00:38,439
"It reached me that our teacher, Ibn Taymiyyah, said:

12
00:00:38,439 --> 00:00:41,439
'I have never once neglected it after any prayer.'"
