The Prophetic Sunnahs are firmly established.
Sitting in the place of prayer after the Dawn prayer until the sun rises:
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir Ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him)
that whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) prayed the Dawn prayer,
he would remain seated in his place of prayer until the sun had fully risen.
