Ithaf Al-Barr in the biographies of the ten readers
Translated by Imam Abu Jaafar Al-Madani
He is Abu Jaafar Yazid bin Al-Qaqa’ Al-Madani Al-Muqri
May God have mercy on him
He ended up with the leadership of reading in the Prophet’s city
He stopped reading the Qur’an for a long time
It was said that he was brought to Umm Salamah
So she wiped his head and prayed for him, may God be pleased with her
He read to Abdullah bin Ayyash bin Abi Rabia Al-Makhzoumi
It was said that he read it to Abu Hurairah and Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them
He is considered one of the followers
Abu Al-Zanad said
In his time, Abu Jaafar was preferred to Abd al-Rahman ibn Hormuz al-Araj
Malik bin Anas said
Abu Jaafar Al-Qari was a good man
People flock to the city
Yahya bin Ma'in said
He was the imam of the people of Medina in reading
He was confident
A man said to Abu Jaafar
Congratulations to you for what has come to you from the Qur’an
Abu Jaafar said
That is, if it is made permissible, it is permissible
And it was forbidden
And I worked on it
Nafi bin Abi Naim read to him
And Suleiman bin Muslim bin Jamaz
And Iss bin Wardan followed suit
And Abdul Rahman bin Zaid bin Aslam
Mark told him
And Abdul Aziz Al-Darawardi
And Abdul Aziz bin Abi Hazem
And others
It was said that when he washed
He looked between his throat and his heart
Like a leaf from the Qur’an
Those who attended it had no doubt that it was the light of the Qur’an
He died, may God have mercy on him, in the year one hundred and thirty AH

He is Abu Al-Harith
Is bin Wardan Al-Hudha

A skilled imam and reciter
And the narrator is an officer investigator
Abu Omar Al-Dani said
He is one of the venerable companions of Nafi’ and their ancients
He shared the chain of transmission
He read to Abu Jaafar Al-Madani
Shaybah bin Nasah
And Nafi bin Abi Naim
Ismail bin Jaafar Al-Madani read to him
And they said
And Muhammad bin Omar Al-Waqidi
And others
He died, may God have mercy on him, in the year one hundred and sixty AH
And God knows best

On the authority of Abu Jaafar
I seek refuge in God from the accursed Satan
In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
It is not for the polytheists to populate the mosques of God
Witnessing themselves to disbelief
Those are their deeds
And in hell they will live forever
He only maintains the mosques of God
Whoever believes in God and the Last Day
And he performed the prayer
And he paid zakat
He only feared God
Perhaps those will be among those who are guided
You made the Hajj's saqat
And the Umrah of the Grand Mosque
Like someone who believes in God and the Last Day
And strive for the sake of God
They are not hidden from God
And God does not guide the unjust people
Those who believed and emigrated
And they strived for the sake of God
Their money and themselves
The highest degree in the sight of God
And those are the winner
Their Lord gives them good news of His mercy
And Radwan and Janan
And gardens for them in which there is abiding bliss
They will abide therein forever
God has a great reward

Ibn al-Jazari said
He was a distinguished reciter and officer
Intentional in reading Abu Jaafar and Nafi’
He read to Nafi bin Abi Naim
And Abu Jaafar and Shaybah bin Nasah
Qutaibah bin Mahran read to him
And Yaqoub bin Jaafar bin Abi Kathir
And Muhammad bin Omar Al-Waqidi and others
He died, may God have mercy on him
After the year one hundred and seventy AH
And God knows best

I seek refuge in God from the accursed Satan

And perform prayer in two parts
During the day and part of the night
Good deeds remove bad deeds
This is a memory for those who remember
And be patient, for God does not waste the reward of the doers of good
Had it not been for centuries from your grave
Those who remain will forbid corruption on earth
Except for a few of them We saved them
And those who did wrong followed what they luxuriated in
And they were criminals
And your Lord would not destroy towns unjustly while their people were reformers
May God reward our Imams with good deeds
We convey the Qur’an sweetly and smoothly
