2- The Garden of Guidance 3- Allah Almighty said: 4- "O my dear son! Establish prayer, enjoin what is good, forbid what is evil, and be patient over whatever befalls you. Indeed, that is of the matters requiring firm resolve." 5- And on the authority of 'Ata' Ibn Abi Rabah, who said: 6- Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) said to me: 7- "Shall I not show you a woman from the people of Paradise?" 8- I said, "Yes, indeed!" 9- He said, "It is this black woman. 10- She came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said, 11- 'I suffer from epileptic seizures and become uncovered, 12- so pray to Allah Almighty for me.' 13- He said, 'If you wish, be patient and you will have Paradise; 14- but if you wish, I will pray to Allah Almighty to cure you.' 15- She said, 'I will be patient.' 16- Then she said, 'Yet, I become uncovered, 17- so pray to Allah that I do not become uncovered.' 18- So he prayed for her." 17- Agreed upon. A Point of Benefit: One of the gnostics had a piece of parchment that he would take out from time to time and look at, and written upon it was: “So wait patiently (O Muhammad) for thy Lord's decree, for surely thou art in Our sight; and hymn the praise of thy Lord when thou uprisest,” (52:48) And Mujahid (may Allah have mercy on him) said regarding the words of Allah Almighty: ﴾So patience is most fitting﴿, he said: "It means patience without any anguish or complaint."
