Hadith and commentary
O Allah, grant us a portion of fear of You that serves as a barrier between us and Your disobedience,
And a portion of obedience to You that brings us to Your Paradise,
And a portion of certainty that makes the calamities of this world easy for us to bear.
Commentary
This world is never free from calamities and hardships,
Yet certainty in Allah and faith in Him make them easy and lighten their burden.
O Allah, grant us fear of You, obedience to You, and certainty in You.
