I witnessed the Battle of Badr with the polytheists
Some Muslims captured me
They tied me with my uncle Abbas with one rope
So we were called Al-Muqarinin
I had no money to redeem myself
So my uncle Al-Abbas, may God be pleased with him, ransomed me
Then God Almighty revealed his saying about us
O Prophet
Tell those captives in your hands
If God knows there is good in your hearts
If He gives you good
If God knows there is good in your hearts
