Chapter on what was mentioned regarding the worship of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
What is meant here is worship
Increase in duties
And the hadiths mentioned by the author, may God have mercy on him
Specialized in night prayer
On the authority of Al-Mughirah bin Shu’bah, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed
Until his feet swelled
So he was told
Do you bother to do this when God has forgiven you for your past and future sins?
He said
Shall I not be a grateful servant?
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, would pray until his feet were wet
He said
So he was told
Do you do this when it has come to you that God has forgiven you for your past and future sins?
He said
Shall I not be a grateful servant?
In these two hadiths
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed until his feet swelled
That is, his feet became swollen from standing for a long time
So he was told
Do you bother to do this when God has forgiven you for your past and future sins?
That is, committing yourself to this cost and hardship
Although God has forgiven you for your past and future sins
As God Almighty said
We have given you a clear opening
May God forgive you for your past and future sins
He will complete His blessings upon you and guide you to a straight path
And he said
Shall I not be a grateful servant?
That is, if God honors me with His forgiveness
Should I not be grateful for His goodness towards me by forgiving my sins?
And all the rest that God has blessed me with
Two positions are mentioned here
A place of servitude and a place of gratitude
He completed what he, may God bless him and grant him peace, completed perfectly and in the best condition
He was the most devout of people to God and the greatest of His servants
He is the imam of the thankful and the role model of the thankful
Then the servant stands until his feet become swollen
This is to be understood if the servant is not bored or bored
Ibn Hajar, may God have mercy on him, said
The solution to that is if it does not lead to money
Because the condition of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was the most perfect condition
He never tired of worshiping his Lord, even if it harmed his body
Rather, it is true that he said
I made prayer the comfort of my eye
Al-Nasa’i also narrated it from the hadith of Anas
As for others, may God bless him and grant him peace
If he fears boredom, he should not hate himself
Accordingly, his saying, may God bless him and grant him peace, is carried
Take from deeds what you realize
God does not tire until you tire
On the authority of Al-Aswad Ibn Yazid, he said:
Aisha, may God be pleased with her, asked about the prayer of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, at night
She said he slept the first part of the night
Then he stands up, and if it is magic, he performs Witr
Then a butterfly came
If he has a need, he takes care of his family
When he hears the call to prayer, he jumps
He poured water on him
Otherwise, he should perform ablution and go out to pray
In this hadith
Al-Aswad asked Ibn Yazid about the prayer of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
And this question
It is based on the desire of the predecessors to know the prayer of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, at night
Because following depends on knowing his guidance, may God bless him and grant him peace
She said it in answer to his question
He slept the first night
That is, immediately after the evening prayer
Because he hated sleeping before her
Say it and then stand up
That is, he wakes up after midnight
He prays until dawn
Then it becomes tense
And then a butterfly came
If he has a need, he takes care of his family
That is, if he is in need of a wife, he will take him with her at that time
And when he hears the call to prayer, he jumps
That is, he carried out a strong and energetic activity
The reward comes from a person in a matter for which he has a strong desire
And saying it, if it is a side, pour water on it
That is, ask him about his entire body
Otherwise, he should perform ablution and go out to pray
That is, if not side by side
He performed ablution and then went out for the dawn prayer in the mosque
On the authority of Kurayb, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both
He was told that he spent the night at Maimouna's house
She is his aunt
He said, so I shivered across the width of the pillow
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was pleased with its length
Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, fell asleep
Even in the middle of the night
Or a little before or a little after
Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, woke up
He started wiping the sleep from his face
Then he recited the final ten verses of Surah Al Imran
Then he got up and started hanging
So he performed ablution from her
So he performed ablution well
Then he stood up and prayed
Abdullah Ibn Abbas said
So I stood beside him
Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, placed his right hand on my head
Then he took his right ear and twisted it
He prayed two rak'ahs
Then two rak'ahs
Then two rak'ahs
Then two rak'ahs
Then two rak'ahs
Maan said six times
Then pray Witr and then lie down
Until the muezzin came to him
So he stood up and prayed two light rak'ahs
Then he went out and prayed the morning prayer
In this hadith
Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both
He spent the night with Maimuna, may God be pleased with her, who was his aunt
Out of his eagerness to see for himself the prayer of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
And worship him at night
And he said
So I lay down on the width of the pillow
That is, he slept with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, on his pillow
He put his head as wide as the pillow
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, lay down at its length
That is, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
And his wife, Maimouna
Lie down along the pillow
This is an indication of the perfection of the humility of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
There is evidence that it is permissible for a man to sleep with his wife without sexual intercourse
In the presence of young ones from her mahrams, even if he is special
And he said even at midnight
Or a little before or a little after
Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, woke up
He started wiping the sleep from his face
That is, to be active to get up and do
Because if a person moves his hand to his face after getting up from sleep
I feel a bit active
Then he recited the final ten verses of Surah Al Imran
They are verses that contain great meanings from the remembrance of God Almighty
And contemplating His creatures and His good supplications and monologues
Reciting it upon waking up is a Sunnah
And he said, then he rose to Shin Mu'allaq
That is, he got out of bed after reading these verses
To what is pending
Shen is a skinned skin bag in which water is placed
And he said, “Then perform ablution from it and perform the ablution well.”
Then he stood up and prayed
So I stood beside him
Then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, placed his right hand on my head
Then he took his right ear and twisted it
That is, move the hand over the ear lightly
It was reported in some narrations on the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, that he said
He did this to comfort me with his hand in the darkness of the night
And he said, pray two rak'ahs and repeat them six times
That is, he prayed twelve rak'ahs with six salutations
Say Ma'an six times, then pray Witr
This is confirmation by the narrator of the number
Then this ritual prayer for the hungry was in the last sixth of the night
To be more active in performing the dawn prayer
Until the muezzin came to him
That is, Bilal, may God be pleased with him, calls him to prayer
So he stood up and prayed two light rak'ahs
It is the voluntary dawn prayer that occurs after the call to prayer
The Sunnah is to reduce it
Then he went out and prayed Fajr in the mosque
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to pray thirteen rak’ahs at night
Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said
As for Ibn Abbas, there is disagreement over him
In the two Sahihs on the authority of Abu Jamrah, on the authority of him
The prayer of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was thirteen rak'ahs
I mean, at night
But this came from him and was explained by the two dawn prayers
Al-Shaabi said
I asked Abdullah Ibn Abbas and Abdullah Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them
About the prayer of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, at night
And he said
Thirteen rak'ahs
Among them are eight, and he prays Witr with three and two rak'ahs before the Fajr prayer
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her
If the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not pray at night
This prevented him from sleeping or his eyes became tired
He prayed twelve rak'ahs during the day
In this hadith
An explanation that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, did not perform Witr during the day
If he falls asleep, he misses the night prayer
He prayed it in the early morning prayer
It is taken from this hadith
Whoever sleeps away from his party at night
He prays it during the day between sunrise and noon
It is the time for the Duha prayer
If he prays Witr with three rak'ahs
Four people prayed for her
And if he performs eleven rak'ahs at night
He prayed twelve rak'ahs in the forenoon
Who did that?
I wrote to him as if he had woken up from the night
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him
On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said
If one of you gets up at night
Let him begin his prayer with two light rak'ahs
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, mourned
Whoever gets up at night to pray
He begins his prayer with two light rak'ahs
To activate them for what comes after them
And so he did, may God bless him and grant him peace
On the authority of Zaid bin Khaled Al-Juhani, may God be pleased with him
He said
To embellish the prayer of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
So his threshold or veil was cushioned
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed
Two light rak'ahs
Then he prayed two long, long, long rak'ahs
Then he prayed two rak'ahs, which were inferior to the ones before them
Then he prayed two rak'ahs, which were inferior to the ones before them
Then he prayed two rak'ahs, which were inferior to the ones before them
Then string
That is thirteen rak'ahs
In this hadith, we see the keenness of the Companions, may God be pleased with them, to know the guidance of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, in getting up at night.
Among this is what Zaid bin Khalidin Al-Juhani, may God be pleased with him, did when he told the most prominent of the Prophet’s prayers, may God bless him and grant him peace.
That is, to look and contemplate it
And he said, “His threshold or veil was covered.”
Fustat is the great tent
What is meant is that I lay down at his door and made his threshold like a pillow by placing my head on it
And he said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed two light rak’ahs.”
These two rak'ahs are the ones referred to in the previous hadith
He opened the night prayer with them
Then he prayed two long, long, long rak'ahs
Repeat three times to exaggerate their length
Rather, he exaggerated in lengthening these two rak'ahs
Because the activity at the beginning of prayer is stronger and the humility is more complete
And he said, “Then he prayed two rak’ahs, which were less than the ones before them.”
I mean, in length
Repeat four times
That is, the length of the prayer begins to decrease and decrease
Then I pray the odd one
That is thirteen rak'ahs
The number is mentioned here for emphasis
On the authority of Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman
He asked Aisha, may God be pleased with her
How was the prayer of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Ramadan?
And she said
What was the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
May it increase during Ramadan or at any other time
In eleven rak'ahs
Four pray
Do not ask about their beauty and height
Then he prays four
Do not ask about their beauty and height
Then he prays three times
Aisha, may God be pleased with her, said
I said, O Messenger of God
I sleep before I get stressed
And he said
Oh Aisha
My eyes are growing
And my heart does not sleep
In this hadith
Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman asked
Aisha, may God be pleased with her
She is his maternal aunt
How was the Prophet’s prayer, may God bless him and grant him peace, in Ramadan?
And she said
What was the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
It increases in Ramadan or any other time
In eleven rak'ahs
This does not contradict what was stated in the previous hadiths
He used to pray thirteen rak'ahs
Perhaps Aisha, may God be pleased with her
No longer in this
The two light rak'ahs
May God bless him and grant him peace
The night prayer begins with them
Then she was fired
And she said
Four pray
Do not ask about their beauty and height
Then he prays four
Do not ask about their beauty and height
That is, they are at the end of their perfection of beauty and height
They are rich in showing off their beauty and height
About asking about it and describing it
These are the four rak'ahs
They are separated by the salutation after every two rak'ahs
And say it
I said, O Messenger of God
I sleep before I get stressed
That is, he, may God bless him and grant him peace
He slept after the last four
Then Faisal gets up
So I asked Aisha, may God be pleased with her
Because she knows that sleep invalidates ablution
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
My eyes sleep and my heart does not sleep
This is one of his characteristics, may God bless him and grant him peace
Because if the heart strengthens its life
He does not sleep if the body sleeps
This only applies to the prophets
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her
That the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
He used to pray eleven rak'ahs at night
He makes Witr with one of them
If he finishes it

The wisdom behind this lying down
Rest from the fatigue of night prayers
Until he renews his energy for the dawn prayer
It is a Sunnah for one who prays the night prayer
But on the condition that this does not lead to lying down
