God Almighty said
O children of Adam, We have sent down to you clothing and clothing and given you feathers
That garment of piety is better than the signs of God, so that they may remember
Ibn al-Qayyim, may God have mercy on him, said
God Almighty has made it obligatory for the servant to disobey the same command
And avoid her desires
To obtain her share of His dignity and reward in full
You will enjoy later the kinds of things you left for God in the future
He said, may God have mercy on him
The heart gets sick just as the body gets sick
His recovery is in repentance and diet
It rusts like a mirror rusts
And his glory is with remembrance
He is exposed as the body is exposed
And his adornment is piety
If one does not wear the clothes of the one he met
He turns around naked, even if he is clothed
The best clothing for a person is obedience to his Lord
There is no good in someone who is disobedient to God
