To us, the people of Bahrain
That twenty of our men come forward
We presented it to him in the year of conquest
And the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, looked
To the horizon on the morning of our arrival
And he said
When we reached the city
My companions quickly got off their camels
From camels and others
They started racing to meet the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
Kissing his hand and pledging allegiance to him
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Welcome
Yes, the people, Abdul Qais
As for me, I did not rush
Rather, I waited until I realized my departure
Then I put on my best clothes
Then I got ready
I came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
He said to me
There are two qualities in you that God and His Messenger love
Dream and ego
So I said
O Messenger of God
I create them
Mother of God brought me to them
He said
Rather, God created you for them
So I said
Praise be to God, who created me with two qualities that God and His Messenger love
We were hosted by the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, for ten days
So I used to ask the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, about jurisprudence and the Qur’an
I used to go to Ubayy bin Ka’b, may God be pleased with him
He teaches me the Qur’an
And when we wanted to leave
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered our delegation to be given gifts
He preferred me over them
So he gave me two ten ounces
This was the most frequent thing that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, allowed any of the delegations to do
