Party and partisanship
Partisanship is the coming together of a sect for a specific goal and a specific action
There will be harmony, cooperation and organized work among its members
It is divided into praiseworthy partisanship and reprehensible partisanship
Praiseworthy faction is coming together to do something that God Almighty loves, such as worship, advocacy, jihad, or relief.
He should be committed to the Qur’an and Sunnah according to the understanding of the Companions
It is intended to seek the face of God Almighty and His Paradise, away from the fanaticism of the party and its members
Reprehensible factionalism is gathering together on a specific action that contradicts what the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, and his companions were upon
Or it may be compatible with him, but what he wants is the world and its riches
The party that is in this state is dominated by reprehensible fanaticism toward the party and its people and a contract of allegiance and disavowal with it.
Concerning these two types of parties, Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may God have mercy on him, says:
As for the head of the party, he is the head of the sect that becomes partisan, meaning it becomes a party
If they are united in what God and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, have commanded without any addition or subtraction
They are believers, and they have what is due to them and what is due to them
Even if they have increased or decreased this, it is like fanaticism for those who join their party with truth and falsehood
And turning away from those who do not join their party, whether they are right or wrong
This is part of the division that God Almighty and His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, condemned

He commanded cooperation in righteousness and piety and forbade cooperation in sin and aggression
