Forty hadiths on the virtue of charity. On the authority of Abu Kabshah al-Anmari, may Allah be pleased with him. He said: I heard the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, say: There are three things I swear to be true. And I shall tell you a hadith, so commit it to memory. He said: A servant’s wealth is never diminished by charity. No servant is wronged and bears it with patience, but that Allah increases him in honor. And no servant opens for himself a door of begging, but that Allah opens for him a door of poverty. Or words to that effect. Recorded by al-Tirmidhi. And authenticated by al-Albani.
