I drank wine
So Saad bin Abi Waqqas, may God be pleased with him, imprisoned me
Until he looks into my matter after the battle
He put the handcuffs on my legs
People rose to fight
I could hear the clanking of swords and the neighing of horses
And people screaming while I was in my place
I heard that the polytheists had attacked the Muslims
And the balance is tilted toward them
So I sent to my wife Saad
I was imprisoned in her house
And I told her
O Salamah, do you have a good God?
She said what about you?
I said, “Abandon me and lend me Saad’s horse.”
So I fight with the Muslims
I swear to God, if God grants me peace
To go back and put my feet in chains as I was
And if I kill you, you will be relieved from me
She declined and said
What am I and that
So I returned to my chains
My soul longs for jihad for the sake of God
I see Muslims being subjected to what they are being subjected to
So I said
It is sad enough to stab horses with a rifle
He became tight and tight
If you unleash the iron and it shuts down
A wrestler without me makes the caller deaf
And God has a covenant that cannot be broken in His covenant
Because I was relieved not to visit the shops
She said: Peace be upon him
You chose God and accepted your covenant
So she released me and gave me Saad's mare
She gave me a weapon, though
So I went out running like a lion
Until it joined the Muslim army
So I made the enemy's ranks calmer
It was carried on the people's side
So back down
Then it was carried on the people's starboard side as well
So people were amazed at me
They thought I was a king fighting with them
Saad was amazed as he watched the battle and said:
Karr Karr Balqa
Beating is hitting Al-Thaqafi
And the cultural one is in the record
It is man
They only stayed for a short time
Until God defeated the enemies
So I returned to my place
And I put my feet in chains
Then Salma, Saad’s wife, came
She told her husband my news
He was not happy, may God be pleased with him
Except he shaved my hand himself
And he said
By God, I hope
Shall I not flog you for wine?
Never after today
So I said
I swear I don't drink it
Never after today
