Prayer is a link between the servant and his Lord
The servant’s prayer should be a link between him and his Lord, Glory be to Him
His soul feels it
The heart derives strength and reassurance from it
The soul finds in it a certain provision on the way to God
That is why the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, would pray when a command came to him
He used to say to Bilal, may God be pleased with him, “Please give us relief, O Bilal.”
