The establishment of the proof
The establishment of the proof varies according to differences in times, places, and individuals.
The proof may be established against disbelievers in one era but not another, or in one location but not another.
Similarly, it may be established against one person but not another.
This is either due to a lack of intellect and discernment,
Such as a child or an insane person.
Or due to a lack of understanding,
Like a non-Arab who does not understand the speech
And there is no translator to interpret for him.
This is akin to a deaf person who hears nothing and is unable to comprehend.
And the ignorance for which a person is excused
Is that which they are unable to remove and incapable of dispelling.
Otherwise, whenever a person is able to know the truth
And falls short in it or turns away from it,
Then they incur the sin of falling short and turning away.
