00:00:00.210 --> 00:00:04.500
Ramadan Hadiths

00:00:04.500 --> 00:00:09.779
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him),

00:00:09.779 --> 00:00:13.779
the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

00:00:13.779 --> 00:00:16.780
"Allah, Mighty and Majestic, said:

00:00:16.780 --> 00:00:20.899
'Every deed of the son of Adam is for him, except fasting;

00:00:20.899 --> 00:00:24.899
it is for Me, and I shall reward it.'

00:00:24.899 --> 00:00:28.160
Fasting is a shield.

00:00:28.160 --> 00:00:31.160
So when one of you is fasting,

00:00:31.160 --> 00:00:35.159
he should neither speak obscenely nor raise his voice in anger.

00:00:35.159 --> 00:00:39.219
If someone reviles him or fights with him,

00:00:39.219 --> 00:00:43.219
let him say: 'I am a fasting person.'

00:00:43.219 --> 00:00:46.579
By the One in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad,

00:00:46.579 --> 00:00:54.579
the breath of the fasting person is more pleasing to Allah on the Day of Resurrection than the fragrance of musk."
