Summary of the concepts of Ahl al-Sunnah
The status of scholars in da'wah (invitation to Allah)
Scholars stand at the forefront of those who call to Allah, the Mighty and Majestic.
They are the conveyors of clear truth.
And they are the ones who enjoin good and forbid evil.
And upon them is the resistance of allegiance to the enemies of Allah.
They are the role models for the rest of the callers.
Thus, their obligation is greater than others.
So, they have the obligation to explain the reality of Tawhid (Oneness of Allah).
And what contradicts it from the various forms of shirk (associating partners with Allah).
Shirk of veneration and shirk of equalization.
And shirk of obedience and shirk of legislation.
And shirk of guardianship and shirk of intercession.
And so on.
And they must proclaim the truth in the face of any unjust ruler or official.
If they do not respond to them,
then at the very least, they should distance themselves from them and reject their positions and stipends.
And they should leave their gatherings.
And they should have free professions by which they earn their livelihood.
Far from the salaries of sultans.
