prohibits 00:03:14.759 --> 00:03:18.759 He forbids them from the evil, which is associating others with God 00:03:18.759 --> 00:03:25.759 And good things are permissible for them, including Al-Bahair, Al-Sawaib, Al-Wasail, and Al-Haami 00:03:25.759 --> 00:03:30.759 They are forbidden from eating pork and usury 00:03:30.759 --> 00:03:34.759 And what they used to consider permissible in terms of restaurants and drinks 00:03:34.759 --> 00:03:40.759 The illiterate prophet lays down the covenant that God had given to the children of Israel 00:03:40.759 --> 00:03:45.759 From establishing the Torah and performing the severe deeds that it contains 00:03:45.759 --> 00:03:50.759 Such as cutting off urine from the skin and prohibiting spoils 00:03:50.759 --> 00:03:54.759 And other acts that were imposed on them 00:03:54.759 --> 00:03:57.759 So it was abrogated by the ruling of the Qur’an 00:03:57.759 --> 00:04:02.759 He removes from them the shackles that God placed on them in His saying 00:04:02.759 --> 00:04:04.759 Their hands were tied 00:04:04.759 --> 00:04:07.960 Those who believed in the illiterate Prophet 00:04:07.960 --> 00:04:11.960 They revered him, venerated him, and protected him from the people 00:04:12.960 --> 00:04:17.959 They helped him against the enemies of God and His enemies with their jihad 00:04:17.959 --> 00:04:21.959 They followed the Qur’an and the Islam that was revealed with it 00:04:21.959 --> 00:04:24.959 who do these actions 00:04:24.959 --> 00:04:31.920 They are the successful ones who realize what they asked for and hoped for by doing so 00:04:31.920 --> 00:04:41.920 Say, O people, that I am the Messenger of God to all of you, to whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens 00:04:41.920 --> 00:04:45.920 To Him belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth 00:04:45.920 --> 00:04:51.920 There is no god but Him who gives life and causes death 00:04:51.920 --> 00:05:00.920 So they believed in God and His Messenger, the unlettered Prophet who believes in God 00:05:00.920 --> 00:05:04.920 Who believes in God and His words 00:05:04.920 --> 00:05:09.920 And follow him that you may be guided 00:05:09.920 --> 00:05:13.329 Say, O Muhammad, to all people 00:05:13.329 --> 00:05:16.329 I am the Messenger of God to all of you 00:05:16.329 --> 00:05:21.329 He who has authority over the heavens and the earth and all that is in them 00:05:21.329 --> 00:05:23.329 Managing and disposing of it 00:05:23.329 --> 00:05:28.329 Deity and worship should be none other than Him 00:05:28.329 --> 00:05:35.329 And He is capable, if He wills, of creating everything He wills, of reviving it, and of annihilating it if He wills 00:05:35.329 --> 00:05:38.329 So they believed in the signs of God 00:05:38.329 --> 00:05:42.329 And they believed in His Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace 00:05:42.329 --> 00:05:47.329 The illiterate prophet who believes in God and His words 00:05:47.329 --> 00:05:51.329 So, people, be guided by him and do what he commanded you 00:05:51.329 --> 00:05:57.329 So that you may be guided and attain the truth by following it 00:05:57.329 --> 00:06:07.550 And among the people of Moses were springs gushed from it 00:06:43.120 --> 00:06:48.120 All people have known their drinking-place 00:06:48.120 --> 00:06:51.120 And We misled them with clouds 00:06:51.120 --> 00:06:57.120 And We sent 00:07:55.629 --> 00:08:02.629 They did not bring any deficiency in our kingdom or authority by asking what they asked 00:08:02.629 --> 00:08:08.629 But they themselves were diminishing its status by replacing the lower with the good 00:08:08.629 --> 00:08:11.629 And the meanest with the best 00:08:11.629 --> 00:08:19.459 And when it was said to him, “Dwell in this town and eat from it wherever you wish.” 00:08:19.459 --> 00:08:27.459 Eat from it wherever you want, say “hatta” and enter the door 00:08:27.459 --> 00:08:35.460 And enter the gate prostrate, We will forgive you your sins 00:08:35.460 --> 00:08:39.460 We will increase the benefactors 00:08:40.460 --> 00:08:46.259 Also remember, O Muhammad, what a mistake these people did 00:08:46.259 --> 00:08:48.259 When God told them 00:08:48.259 --> 00:08:51.259 They lived in the village of Beit Al-Maqdis 00:08:51.259 --> 00:08:57.259 So eat of its fruits, grains, and plants, if you grow from them 00:08:57.259 --> 00:09:01.259 And say this act is a humiliation that erases our sins 00:09:01.259 --> 00:09:05.259 We forgive you for your past sins 00:09:05.259 --> 00:09:07.259 We will not take you for it 00:09:07.259 --> 00:09:13.259 We will increase those who are obedient to God for the forgiveness of sins I promised you 00:09:13.259 --> 00:09:32.059 Then those who were unjust among them substituted a length other than what they had been told, so We sent upon them a punishment from heaven because of their wrongdoing 00:09:32.059 --> 00:09:38.379 Other than those who disbelieve in God among them are what God commanded them to say 00:09:38.379 --> 00:09:41.379 They said wheat in a ritual 00:09:41.379 --> 00:09:45.379 What they say is different from what they were told 00:09:45.379 --> 00:09:52.379 So We sent upon them a punishment from heaven because they changed what they were commanded to do 00:09:52.379 --> 00:09:56.379 They do contrary to what God commanded them to do 00:09:56.379 --> 00:10:00.379 And they say something other than what God commanded them to say 00:10:00.379 --> 00:10:29.039 And ask them about the town that was by the sea, when they transgressed on the Sabbath, when their whales came to them on the day of their Sabbath according to law, and on the day they did not observe the Sabbath, they did not come to them. Thus We tried them because they were defiantly disobedient. 00:10:29.039 --> 00:10:36.039 O Muhammad, ask these Jews about the village that was near the sea 00:10:36.039 --> 00:10:39.039 As they transgress the command of God on the Sabbath 00:10:39.039 --> 00:10:43.039 And they go beyond it to what God has forbidden to them 00:10:43.039 --> 00:10:49.039 When their whales come to them on the day of their Sabbath, during which they are away from work 00:10:49.039 --> 00:10:54.039 A street visible on the water from every direction and side 00:10:54.039 --> 00:10:58.039 And a day they do not venerate, they venerate the Sabbath 00:10:58.039 --> 00:11:03.039 And on all days the whales do not come to them 00:11:03.039 --> 00:11:08.039 As we described to you of the test and trial that we mentioned 00:11:08.039 --> 00:11:13.039 We also test them by their immorality and their departure from obedience to God 00:11:13.039 --> 00:11:25.649 And when a group of them said, “Why do you admonish me, God will destroy them.” 00:11:25.649 --> 00:11:30.649 Or torture them severely 00:11:30.649 --> 00:11:38.360 They said, “Excuse me to your Lord, and perhaps they will be righteous.” 00:11:38.360 --> 00:11:40.360 And remember also, O Muhammad 00:11:40.360 --> 00:11:46.360 When a group of them said to a group that was preaching to transgressors on the Sabbath 00:11:46.360 --> 00:11:49.360 And forbid them from disobeying God in it 00:11:49.360 --> 00:11:55.360 When you preach to a people, God will destroy them in this world because of their disobedience to Him 00:11:55.360 --> 00:11:58.360 And they made permissible what was forbidden to them 00:11:58.360 --> 00:12:02.360 Or He will punish them with a severe punishment in the Hereafter 00:12:02.360 --> 00:12:06.360 Those who were forbidding them from disobeying God said 00:12:06.360 --> 00:12:10.360 We advised them to apologize to your Lord 00:12:10.360 --> 00:12:15.360 We fulfill what is obligatory upon us in enjoining good and forbidding evil 00:12:15.360 --> 00:12:19.360 Perhaps they will fear God and fear Him 00:12:19.360 --> 00:12:34.090 When they forgot what they had been reminded of, We saved those who forbid evil 00:12:34.090 --> 00:12:46.090 And We seized those who did wrong with a miserable punishment because they were defiantly disobedient 00:12:46.090 --> 00:12:50.440 When I left the sect that used to practice the Sabbath 00:12:50.440 --> 00:12:54.440 What God commanded her to do was to abandon transgression 00:12:54.440 --> 00:12:59.440 She lost what the preaching group preached to her and reminded her of 00:12:59.440 --> 00:13:03.440 God saves those who forbid them from disobeying God 00:13:03.440 --> 00:13:08.440 And We punished those who transgressed on the Sabbath with a severe and wretched punishment 00:13:08.440 --> 00:13:11.440 Because they were violating God's command 00:13:11.440 --> 00:13:15.440 They go from obeying him to disobeying him 00:13:15.440 --> 00:13:24.960 When they disobeyed what they had forbidden, We said to them, “Be despicable apes.” 00:13:24.960 --> 00:13:30.309 When they rebelled against what was forbidden from transgressing the Sabbath 00:13:30.309 --> 00:13:35.309 And they made permissible what God had forbidden to them, such as catching and eating fish 00:13:35.309 --> 00:13:40.309 We told them to be monkeys who are hostile to goodness 00:13:40.309 --> 00:13:49.039 And when you decided, your Lord would surely resurrect them until the Day of Resurrection 00:13:49.039 --> 00:13:57.039 Who inflicts upon them evil torment 00:13:57.039 --> 00:14:05.879 Your Lord is swift in punishment, and He is Forgiving and Merciful 00:14:05.879 --> 00:14:08.450 And remember, O Muhammad 00:14:08.450 --> 00:14:14.450 When your Lord knew that they would send upon the Jews those who would inflict upon them an evil torment 00:14:14.450 --> 00:14:20.450 Indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, is quick to punish those who deserve punishment 00:14:20.450 --> 00:14:23.450 Indeed, He is the One who pardons the sins of those who repent 00:14:23.450 --> 00:14:30.190 Merciful to him is to punish him for his crime after he repents of it 00:14:30.190 --> 00:14:38.190 And We divided them into nations in the land, some of them were righteous and some of them were less than that 00:14:38.190 --> 00:14:47.190 We tested them with good deeds and evil deeds so that they might return 00:14:47.190 --> 00:14:53.919 And We dispersed the Children of Israel into various groups in the land 00:14:53.919 --> 00:14:59.919 Among these people are those who believe in God and His messengers, and some of them are less than righteous 00:14:59.919 --> 00:15:04.919 We tested them with prosperity in living and abundance in livelihood 00:15:04.919 --> 00:15:08.919 We tested them with hardship in their lives and calamities in their wealth 00:15:08.919 --> 00:15:15.919 To return to obedience to their Lord, turn to it, and repent of His sins 00:15:15.919 --> 00:15:22.009 After them, there was a successor who inherited the book 00:15:22.009 --> 00:15:29.009 They take this lowest offer 00:15:29.009 --> 00:15:35.009 They say we will be forgiven 00:15:35.009 --> 00:15:41.009 If an offer like it comes to them, they will take it 00:15:41.009 --> 00:15:45.009 Was not the covenant of the book taken from them? 00:15:45.009 --> 00:15:49.009 Do not say anything about God except the truth 00:15:50.009 --> 00:15:54.009 Do not say anything about God except the truth 00:15:54.009 --> 00:15:57.009 And they studied what was in it 00:15:57.009 --> 00:16:03.009 The Hereafter is better for those who fear 00:16:03.009 --> 00:16:07.779 Do you not understand? 00:16:07.779 --> 00:16:11.779 So it changed after them instead of the bad that happened after them 00:16:11.779 --> 00:16:16.779 They inherited the Book of God, so they taught it and neglected to act according to it 00:16:16.779 --> 00:16:20.779 They bribe in the judgment of God and take bribes in it 00:16:20.779 --> 00:16:25.779 Whoever offers this immediate and closer term than the furthest term 00:16:25.779 --> 00:16:31.779 They say if they do that God will forgive us our sins 00:16:31.779 --> 00:16:35.779 Haven't these bribers been held accountable for their rulings? 00:16:35.779 --> 00:16:39.779 Covenants to establish the Torah and act according to it 00:16:39.779 --> 00:16:43.779 That they say nothing about God except the truth 00:16:43.779 --> 00:16:50.779 They do not add to it anything except what was revealed to His Messenger Moses, may God bless him and grant him peace 00:16:50.779 --> 00:16:52.779 And they read what was in it 00:16:52.779 --> 00:16:58.779 And what is in the Hereafter is what has been prepared for his guardians who preserve its borders 00:16:58.779 --> 00:17:01.779 Good for those who fear punishment 00:17:01.779 --> 00:17:07.779 Do these people not understand that what God has is in the Hereafter? 00:17:07.779 --> 00:17:12.779 Better than this little offer that they rush about in this world 00:17:12.779 --> 00:17:19.089 And those who hold the Book and establish prayer 00:17:19.089 --> 00:17:24.089 We do not waste the reward of reformers 00:17:24.089 --> 00:17:28.799 And those who work according to the Book of God 00:17:28.799 --> 00:17:31.799 They performed prayer within its limits 00:17:31.799 -->
