Surah al-Nasr.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
“When Allah's succour and the triumph cometh” (110:1)
“And thou seest mankind entering the religion of Allah in troops,” (110:2)
“Then hymn the praises of thy Lord, and seek forgiveness of Him. Lo! He is ever ready to show mercy.” (110:3)
When the victory of Allah comes to you, O Muhammad, over your people from the Quraysh,
and the conquest—meaning the conquest of Makkah—
and you see the people, from the various Arab tribes and clans,
including the people of Yemen and the tribes of Nizar,
entering into the religion of Allah with which He sent you,
and into the obedience to which you called them, in throngs, group after group,
then glorify your Lord with His praise, and exalt Him with gratitude and thanks
for what He has fulfilled for you of His promise.
For you will then be joining Him,
and you will taste death, just as the messengers before you tasted it.
And ask Him to forgive your sins,
for He is ever inclined to return to His servant
who is obedient to what He loves.
