Prioritizing love for God and His Messenger over love for everything else
A true lover tends towards what suits his beloved
He does not offer him any of the beloved things
When a person is presented with two things, he should:
One of them is loved by God and His Messenger
He has no desire or inclination for himself
The other is loved and desired by himself
But he loses something beloved of God and His Messenger, or he lacks it
He should then consider which of the two matters he is with
And what will he offer over the other?
Let him be his guide and guide in this matter to choose the words of God Almighty
Say if your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your wives, and your clan
And the money you have made and the trade that you fear will decline
And dwellings that please you are more beloved to you than God and His Messenger
And struggle in His cause, so wait until God brings His command
And God does not guide the rebellious people
Let us beware of what is mentioned in the verse in terms of describing someone who puts anything mentioned in it before the love of God and His Messenger
Of the immoral people who deny guidance
As God Almighty said, God does not guide the rebellious people
God is not satisfied with them, for God is not satisfied with the immoral people
Then to judge himself
Is he one of those who love God and His Messenger and who are loved by God and His Messenger?
Or is he among the sinners who are abhorred by God Almighty?
