How much I admire the character of this noble young man
It was stated in Al-Hakim’s Mustadrak
Abu Abdullah Al-Asbahani told us
Al-Hasan bin Jahm told us
Al-Hussein bin Al-Faraj told us
Muhammad bin Omar told us
Ibrahim bin Muhammad Al-Abdari told me
On the authority of his father, he said:
It was Musab bin Umair
The boy of Mecca, young and beautiful
His parents loved him
His mother used to dress him in the best and most delicate clothes possible
He was the most fragrant of the people of Mecca
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to mention him and say
I have not seen in Mecca a person of better character nor a more refined person
There is no one more blessed than Musab bin Umair

To receive life, glory and history
