00:04:55.009 Knowledge of what the Messenger, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, brought, 00:04:55.009 --> 00:04:58.209 from what Allah revealed to him in the Qur'an, 00:04:58.209 --> 00:05:00.939 and from the purified Sunnah. 00:05:00.939 --> 00:05:04.939 This necessitates that a woman reads the Qur'an, 00:05:04.939 --> 00:05:06.740 and understands its meanings, 00:05:06.740 --> 00:05:09.740 even if through concise books of Tafsir, 00:05:09.740 --> 00:05:11.740 such as the Tafsir of al-Sa‘di, 00:05:11.740 --> 00:05:14.540 or "The Qur'an: Contemplation and Action," 00:05:14.540 --> 00:05:17.939 and both are available on the internet. 00:05:18.139 --> 00:05:23.339 It also requires her to read the hadiths of the Prophet, peace be upon him, 00:05:23.339 --> 00:05:26.139 for they are the practical application of the Qur'an, 00:05:26.139 --> 00:05:29.139 and the Prophetic guidance for the Ummah, 00:05:29.139 --> 00:05:30.540 especially 00:05:30.540 --> like the alignment of an ear of corn on its stalk. 00:07:18.560 --> 00:07:20.560 Truthfulness in actions: 00:07:20.560 --> 00:07:24.199 The alignment of deeds with the command and the following [of the Prophet], 00:07:24.199 --> 00:07:27.199 like the alignment of the head on the body. 00:07:27.199 --> 00:07:29.199 Truthfulness in states: 00:07:29.199 --> 00:07:33.759 The alignment of the actions of the heart and limbs with sincerity, 00:07:33.759 --> 00:07:37.189 and the exertion of effort and expenditure of energy. 00:07:37.189 --> 00:07:41.189 Through this, the servant becomes one of those who brought truthfulness. 00:07:41.189 --> 00:07:48.220 According to the perfection of these matters in a person, their Truthful rank is determined. 00:07:48.220 --> 00:07:57.290 That is why Abu Bakr al-Siddiq held the pinnacle of the Truthful rank, until he was called "al-Siddiq" (the Truthful) absolutely. 00:07:57.290 --> 00:08:03.290 "Al-Siddiq" is more emphatic than "al-Saduq," and "al-Saduq" is more emphatic than "al-Sadiq." 00:08:03.290 --> 00:08:14.480 The highest rank of truthfulness is the rank of the Truthful, which is the perfection of submission to the Messenger alongside the But those in whose hearts is doubt pursue, forsooth, that which is allegorical seeking (to cause) dissension by seeking to explain it. None knoweth its explanation save Allah. Cause not our hearts to stray after Thou hast guided us, and bestow upon us mercy from Thy Presence. Lo! Thou, only Thou, art the Bestower.” (3:8) 00:09:49.730 --> 00:10:01.210 My advice to every girl and woman seeking the highest degrees with Allah is to be careful about whom she listens to or reads from. 00:10:01.210 --> 00:10:15.240 For the means of communication today have become filled with people of desires and doubts who address women with honeyed words to spread their doubts and drag her into their desires. 00:10:15.240 --> 00:10:17.269 Allah the Exalted says: 00:10:17.269 --> 00:10:32.269 “Allah would explain to you and guide you by the examples of those who were before you, and would turn to you in mercy. Allah is Knower, Wise.” (4:26) 00:10:32.269 --> 00:10:44.269 “And Allah would turn to you in mercy; but those who follow vain desires would have you go tremendously astray.” (4:27) 00:10:44.269 --> 00:10:53.269 “Allah would make the burden light for you, for man was created weak.” (4:28) 00:10:53.269 --> 00:11:01.529 The most dangerous inclination a woman might have because of them is to disbelieve or doubt the texts of the Shari‘ah, 00:11:01.529 --> 00:11:09.529 especially the Prophetic hadiths related to women, around which doubts are often raised. 00:11:09.529 --> 00:11:16.529 This inclination affects the heart, depriving it of the sweetness of faith and obedience. 00:11:16.529 --> 00:11:22.529 So how can a girl or woman reach the rank of the Truthful after that? 00:11:22.529 --> 00:11:29.690 We will continue in a future meeting, if Allah wills.
