Meaning of worship
Worship is the purpose of creating accountable people
God Almighty said
I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me
This requires that their entire lives be for God and by God
As God Almighty said
Say: My prayer, my rituals, my living, and my death belong to God, Lord of the Worlds
There are no works for this world that are separate from the afterlife
Other deeds for the afterlife are performed in other than this worldly life
Rather, it is one path, the beginning of which is in this world and the end in the afterlife
Whoever worships God alone in this path in all his deeds
In the afterlife, he reached heaven and had a good outcome
Whoever violates worship and abandons it on the way
His path took him to hell, God forbid
Therefore, worship was defined in terms of what is worshiped with
It is a comprehensive name for everything that God loves and is pleased with
Of words and deeds, both apparent and hidden
Worship was also defined in terms of the state of the worshiper
It is the perfection of love and reverence for God Almighty
With complete humility and submission to Him, Glory be to Him
If you love Him and do not submit to Him, Glory be to Him, then you are not His worshiper
Likewise, if you submit to Him without love
You are not a worshiper of Him until you are a submissive lover
