Surat Al-Rum
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
It is God who created you from weakness, then made strength after weakness
Then He made after weakness strength
Then He made after strength weakness and gray hair
He creates whatever He wills, and He is the All-Knowing, the All-Powerful
God is the one who created you, O people, from sperm and degrading water
So He created you as equal human beings
Then give you the power to act
Then he caused you weakness through old age and arrogance
He creates whatever weakness, strength, youth and gray hair He wants
He is the All-Knowing and Almighty in arranging His creation to do whatever He wills
And on the Day when the Hour comes, the criminals will swear that they only stayed for an hour
They were also making fun of it
And the day of resurrection will come
He swears by the criminals who disbelieved in God in this world
They did not stay in their graves for more than one hour
Just as they used to lie in this world and swear to lie while they knew
And those who were given knowledge and faith said
You have remained in the Book of God until the Day of Resurrection
This is the Day of Resurrection, but you did not know
And those who were given knowledge of the Book of God and faith in God and His Book said
You have tarried what God has written, which He already knew that you would tarry
This is the day when people will be raised from their graves
But you did not know in this world that it would happen
And you are resurrected after death
On that day, it will not be of use to those who have wronged to be excused, nor will they be asked to seek blame
On the Day when they will be resurrected from their graves
It is useless for those who deny the resurrection in this world to be excused
It is what they say that we know will happen
Nor will these oppressors take back that day what they lied about in this world
And We have presented for the people every example in this Qur’an
And if you bring them a sign, those who disbelieve will say, “You are nothing but vain.”
And We have presented to people every example in this Qur’an
As a protest against them and to alert them to the oneness of God
O Muhammad, if you bring these people as evidence of the truth of what you say
Those who denied your message will say:
You, O believers, are Muhammad in what he brought to you
Except that we are false in what you bring us of these matters
Thus God seals the hearts of those who do not know
Likewise, God seals the hearts of those who do not know the truth of what you bring to them, O Muhammad, from God
From these lessons and sermons
So be patient, for God’s promise is true
And let not those who are not certain underestimate you
So be patient, O Muhammad, when their harm befalls you
The promise of God that He promised you of victory over them is true
These polytheists of God do not underestimate your dream and your opinion
Those who do not believe in the resurrection and do not believe in the resurrection
They will discourage you from the command of God and influence because of the cost to you of conveying His message to them
