And he fought until he was killed

Then he came to our house
I had done my work and kneaded my dough
I washed my sons, anointed them, and cleaned them
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Bring me Banu Jaafar
So I brought them to him
He smelled them and his eyes watered
So I said, O Messenger of God
May my father and mother be sacrificed for what makes you cry
I will inform you of something about Jaafar and his companions
He said yes he was injured that day
So I shouted and the women gathered around me
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, went out to his family
And he said
Do not neglect to prepare food for the Jaafar family
For they have come to something that preoccupies them
I visited the Mother of the Believers, Hafsa, may God be pleased with her, one day
Then Omar, may God be pleased with him, entered upon us
He said who is this?
Hafsa told him
The Ethiopian said: This is the marine
I told him yes
He said, “We preceded you in emigrating.”
We are more worthy of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, than you
So I got angry and said
No, I swear
You were with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace
He feeds your hungry and protects your ignorant
We were in the house of hostility and hatred in Abyssinia
This is in God and in the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace

I do not eat food or drink anything
Until I remember what I said to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and ask him
By God, I will not lie or add more to it
