00:00:00.180 --> 00:00:08.830
A summary of the concepts held by the Ahl al-Sunnah.

00:00:08.830 --> 00:00:11.830
The trial of calamities and adversities.

00:00:11.830 --> 00:00:20.469
This refers to what befalls a Muslim in terms of what he dislikes regarding his own self, his family, his wealth, or his loved ones.

00:00:20.469 --> 00:00:27.469
Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, strengthens His allies through patience, certainty, and contentment with Him, glory be to Him.

00:00:27.469 --> 00:00:37.469
It also involves maintaining a good opinion of Him and the certainty that what Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, chooses for His servant is better than what the servant chooses for himself, even if he dislikes it.

00:00:37.469 --> 00:00:42.469
In this trial lies a test of the believer’s faith and his seeking of reward from Allah.

00:00:42.469 --> 00:00:48.469
People are equal during times of ease, but they differ greatly during times of hardship.

00:00:48.469 --> 00:00:53.109
A summary of the concepts held by the Ahl al-Sunnah.
