00:07:26.750 --> 00:07:30.009 It is from Allah’s mercy toward you, O Eve, 00:07:30.009 --> 00:07:33.009 that He did not leave you to search in the unknown 00:07:33.170 --> 00:07:36.170 for this psychological comfort, 00:07:36.170 --> 00:07:39.230 but rather He sent down to you this Great Book 00:07:39.230 --> 00:07:42.230 and said: 00:07:42.230 --> 00:07:45.230 "And if there should come to you guidance from Me," 00:07:45.230 --> 00:07:48.230 "Then whoever follows My guidance, there will be no fear concerning them," 00:07:48.230 --> 00:07:51.230 "nor will they grieve." 00:07:51.230 --> 00:07:54.420 Al-Sa'di, may Allah have mercy on him, said: 00:07:54.420 --> 00:07:57.420 He established upon following His guidance 00:07:57.420 --> 00:08:00.459 four things. 00:08:00.620 --> 00:08:03.620 This concerns fear and grief. 00:08:03.620 --> 00:08:06.620 The difference between them is 00:08:06.620 --> 00:08:09.620 that if the disliked thing has already passed, 00:08:09.620 --> 00:08:12.740 it causes grief, 00:08:12.740 --> 00:08:15.740 and if it is expected, it causes fear. 00:08:15.740 --> 00:08:18.740 So He negated both for those who follow His guidance. 00:08:18.740 --> 00:08:21.839 And when they are negated, their opposites are attained, 00:08:21.839 --> 00:08:24.839 which is complete security. 00:08:24.839 --> 00:08:27.839 Likewise, the negation of misguidance and misery 00:08:27.839 --> 00:08:32.970 establishes their opposites, which are guidance and happiness. 00:08:32.970 --> 00:08:40.970 So whoever follows the guidance attains security, worldly and otherworldly happiness, and guidance, 00:08:40.970 --> 00:08:46.970 and is spared every disliked thing of fear, grief, misguidance, and misery. 00:08:46.970 --> 00:08:51.970 Thus, they attain what is desired and are repelled from what is feared. 00:08:51.970 --> 00:08:57.970 This is the opposite of those who do not follow the guidance, disbelieving in it and denying His signs. 00:08:57.970 --> 00:09:05.450 We will continue in a future meeting, if Allah wills, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds. 00:09:05.450 --> 00:09:10.889 The story of our mother Eve.
