1
00:00:00,140 --> 00:00:06,139
What is the reward for offering the funeral prayer and following the funeral procession until burial?

2
00:00:06,139 --> 00:00:10,820
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

3
00:00:10,820 --> 00:00:15,910
"Whoever follows the funeral procession of a Muslim out of faith and seeking Allah’s reward,

4
00:00:15,910 --> 00:00:21,910
and stays with it until the funeral prayer is offered and the burial is completed,

5
00:00:21,910 --> 00:00:25,940
will return with a reward of two qirats,

6
00:00:25,940 --> 00:00:28,940
each qirat being like Mount Uhud.

7
00:00:28,940 --> 00:00:34,200
And whoever offers the funeral prayer for the deceased and then leaves before the burial,

8
00:00:34,200 --> 00:00:37,200
will return with one qirat."
