The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Whoever follows the funeral procession of a Muslim out of faith and seeking Allah’s reward,

00:00:15.910 --> 00:00:21.910
and stays with it until the funeral prayer is offered and the burial is completed,

00:00:21.910 --> 00:00:25.940
will return with a reward of two qirats,

00:00:25.940 --> 00:00:28.940
each qirat being like Mount Uhud.

00:00:28.940 --> 00:00:34.200
And whoever offers the funeral prayer for the deceased and then leaves before the burial,

00:00:34.200 --> 00:00:37.200
will return with one qirat."
