Preferring safety out of fear of confronting falsehood.
Leads to even greater hardship.
Whoever prefers safety and fears the toil of resisting corruption and its proponents,
will inevitably fall into greater difficulty and more severe hardship.
He will find this in the loss of his religion, his soul, his honor, and his wealth.
This is the price of silence and the preference for the worldly life,
along with a corruption of one's worldview.
For the one who thinks he will be saved in his wealth, his honor,
his life, and the lives of his children under the rule of tyrants,
is merely living in an illusion or has lost all sense of reality.
For it is not a condition that loss and ruin must come through physical death or dispossession;
rather, living under the shadow of corruption and its whims,
and outside the guidance of the upright Shari'ah,
is in reality a death and a loss of the most profound kind.
