In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation It was summarized by Dr. Aqeel bin Salem Al-Shammari Surat Al-Raad In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful And if he wonders, then their saying is astonishing: “When we are dust.” So amazing is their saying, “If we are dust.” We are in a new creation Those who disbelieved in their Lord And those shackles are around their necks And those are the companions of the Fire They will live there forever Those will be the inhabitants of Hell on the Day of Resurrection They will remain therein forever They ask you to hasten the bad before the good Examples of examples have passed away before them Indeed, your Lord is willing to forgive people for their injustice Indeed, your Lord is severe in punishment Indeed, your Lord, O Muhammad, is covering up their actions, whatever they did without my permission Indeed, your Lord is severe in punishment for whoever perishes and persists in his disobedience in the Resurrection And those who disbelieve say, “If only a sign had been sent down to him from his Lord.” But you are a warner And every people has a guide And those who disbelieve say Should no proof be sent down to Muhammad from his Lord? But you, O Muhammad, are a warner to them Warn them of God's punishment that will come Every people has an imam whom they follow and a guide who precedes them He guides them either to good or to evil God knows what every female carries The wombs do not decrease or increase Everything has a measure The great, transcendent world of the unseen and the witnessed God knows what every female carries The wombs do not reduce their pregnancy during the nine months by sending menstrual blood Her pregnancy increases over the nine months Everything has a measure Nothing of his value exceeds his appreciation And nothing that He wills and plans falls short of His plan God knows what you have missed And whatever you saw, you saw with your eyes Nothing is hidden from him The great one without whom everything is The Most High over all things through His power Both the one who says it secretly and the one who speaks it out loud Who is deceitful at night and stealth during the day? Moderate in the eyes of God are you, people The one who spoke secretly and the one who spoke it out loud And he who belittles the night in its darkness by disobeying God It is visible during the day in its light None of this is hidden from him He has obstacles in front of him and behind him who protect him from the command of God God does not change the condition of a people until He changes what is in themselves If God wants evil for a people, there is no turning it back And they have no way other than Him Either of you people Whoever secretly says and whoever declares it openly is before your Lord Whoever belittles his immorality and suspicion in the darkness of the night And Sarp comes and goes in the light of day He is abstained by his soldiers and guards who are pursuing him from in front of him and behind him They protect him from those who obey God and prevent him from what comes from that And to implement God's punishment for him God does not change the well-being and blessings of a people He removes that from them and destroys them Until they change what is within themselves by oppressing one another Then his punishment and change will befall them And if God intends for those who belittle the night and steal the day, destruction and disgrace No one else can refute that for them These people have no guardian who follows them and takes care of their affairs and punishment It is He who shows you the lightning for fear and hope and creates the heavy clouds The thunder praises Him, the angels praise Him, and He sends lightning bolts He sends thunderbolts and strikes with them whomever He wills, while they dispute about God, and He is severe in His impossibility The Lord is the one who shows his servants the lightning For fear of harm to the traveler The resident hopes that it will rain and benefits He stirs up the heavy clouds with rain, and causes the thunder to magnify and glorify God He praises him for his qualities and exonerates him from what the polytheists have added to him The angels glorify God out of fear and awe, and He sends lightning bolts and strikes whomever He wishes with them And these are those whom God struck with lightning He struck them when they disputed with God Almighty His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace By God, it is severe in punishing those who are tyrannical, arrogant, and persistent in their disbelief To Him belongs the call of truth, and those they call upon other than Him do not respond to them with anything except as one who spreads out His hands Except as one who extends his hands to the water to reach it, then it is not his reach The supplication of the unbelievers is nothing but misguidance From His creation belongs the true call, which is the unity of God And the gods that the polytheists call lords besides God Do not answer them with anything they want from benefit or harm Except as it is beneficial for someone to stretch his hands towards water She wore them to him without him raising them to him in Inna The supplication of one who disbelieves in God is only without integrity or guidance, because he associates others with God To God prostrates whoever is in the heavens and the earth, willingly, unwillingly or astray And they go astray in the mornings and the evenings If those who call upon idols other than God refuse to release obedience To God the honorable angels in the heavens prostrate And whoever on earth believes in Him voluntarily As for those who disbelieve in Him, they prostrate to Him by force when they are forced to prostrate He also prostrates their error in the mornings and evenings Say from the Lord of the heavens and the earth Say God Say: Have you taken guardians besides Him? They do not have any benefit or harm for themselves Say: Are the blind and the seeing equal, or are darkness and light equal? Or did they assign partners to God who created you as His own, so that the creation was similar to them? Say: God is the Creator of all things and He is the Promiser, the Supreme Say, O Muhammad, to these polytheists in God From the Lord of the heavens and the earth and its ruler So say, “O Muhammad, its Lord is the one who created it and created it.” He is the One to whom worship is not appropriate, and He is God Tell them: Have you taken guardians other than the Lord of the heavens and the earth? They have neither benefit to bring nor harm to repel And you abandoned the worship of those in whose hands is both benefit and harm Tell them, O Muhammad, is the blind man who does not see anything equal? And the one who sees the blind who guides the blind to the path They are shapeless and uneven Likewise, the believer who sees the truth and follows it is not equal And you, O polytheists, do not know the truth and do not see guidance Are the darknesses equal to those in which you do not see the way? The light by which you see things So is disbelief in God But his companion was confused about it Faith in God is accompanied by him in light Say, O Muhammad, these are the polytheists I create your idols as God created them So you are suspicious of her matter So you made them partners for him for that reason Tell them, Muhammad God is your Creator, the Creator of your idols, and the Creator of everything He is the individual who has no second The Almighty who deserves divinity and worship Water was sent down from the sky Valleys flowed as much as they could The torrent carried a thick foam And from what they kindle in the fire Seeking a piece of jewelry or something similar to it God also strikes truth and falsehood As for the foam, it disappears As for what benefits people, it will fail on earth God also sets parables This is like God striking right and wrong Like the truth Like water sent down by God from the sky to the earth The valleys bore him with their fullness The big one is big and the small one is small The torrent bore foam rising above the torrent The truth is the remaining water And foam is falsehood Another example of truth and falsehood Like silver or gold that people burn in fire Asking for a piece of jewelry or belongings to be taken away And some of these things they burn Foam like the foam of a stream is of no use And pure gold and silver remain God also represents faith and disbelief God also represents truth and falsehood As for the foam that is on the stream, the gold and the silver, it will go away As for the water that benefits people, it is destroyed on the ground Gold and silver remain for the people This is also a parable of faith and disbelief It also represents proverbs For those who responded to their Lord well And those who did not respond to him If only they had everything on earth If only they had everything on earth And a similar one with him so that they may seek refuge in him Those have bad judgment And their abode is Hell And miserable is the mulch As for those who responded to God, they believed in Him and followed His Messenger For theirs is goodness, and it is Paradise As for those who did not respond to God When he called them to unite him and they did not follow his Messenger Even if they had everything on earth And the same with him belongs to them Then he accepted the same from them Instead of the torment that God has prepared for them So they ransom themselves with it Those are the ones to be punished for all their sins They will not be forgiven for any of it And their abode on the Day of Resurrection will be Hell And miserable is the bed and the lowest place in Hell Conclusion from Al-Tabari’s interpretation
