1
00:00:00,880 --> 00:00:06,179
The Prophetic traditions are firmly established.

2
00:00:06,179 --> 00:00:12,220
Supplicating upon hearing the crowing of a rooster,

3
00:00:12,220 --> 00:00:16,320
and seeking refuge upon hearing the braying of a donkey.

4
00:00:16,320 --> 00:00:20,320
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him),

5
00:00:20,320 --> 00:00:24,519
that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

6
00:00:24,519 --> 00:00:27,870
"When you hear the crowing of a rooster,

7
00:00:27,870 --> 00:00:30,469
ask Allah of His bounty,

8
00:00:30,469 --> 00:00:33,170
for it has seen an angel.

9
00:00:33,170 --> 00:00:36,469
And when you hear the braying of a donkey,

10
00:00:36,469 --> 00:00:40,070
seek refuge in Allah from the Devil,

11
00:00:40,070 --> 00:00:43,270
for it has seen a devil."

12
00:00:43,270 --> 00:00:45,560
Agreed upon.
