A summary of the concepts held by the Ahl al-Sunnah.
The nature of cosmic and human existence.
Philosophers of both East and West have wandered aimlessly.
They spent decades, indeed centuries, searching for the truth of the universe and humanity.
Its origin, its end, and its ultimate destiny.
Yet they only increased in misguidance and confusion.
Meanwhile, Allah guided the believers to the clarification of these great truths.
In a few verses of His Noble Book.
Because the Creator of the universe and humanity,
And the Revealer of the Qur'an,
Is Allah alone, with no partner.
“Should He not know what He created? And He is the Subtile, the Aware.” (67:14)
He informed us in His Mighty Book,
That the entire universe is the creation of Allah the Exalted.
And that He is its Owner and its Disposer.
Allah the Almighty willed it to be, and it was.
He, glory be to Him, instilled within it the laws and principles by which it operates.
Through which the movement of its parts remains in harmony.
So they do not collide or conflict.
And they do not cease their orderly motion until Allah the Exalted wills.
He informed us that this universe, both its heavens and its earth,
Was created by Allah the Almighty only in truth and for an appointed term.
And that it is submissive to its Lord, to the will that governs it, and to the decree that moves it.
All of this is by the knowledge of Allah the Exalted and His recording of it.
By His will for it and His creation of it.
And that all of this is for a great wisdom and a momentous purpose.
He, glory be to Him, did not create this universe in vain or for mere caprice.
He, glory be to Him, said: "And We did not create the heaven and the earth and that between them in play."
And He, the Almighty, said: "And We did not create the heavens and the earth and that between them except in truth."
“We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness.” (15:85)
As for human existence, the Creator of the universe has clarified for us,
That He created jinn and mankind for a great purpose.
Which is to worship Him alone, with no partner.
He, the Almighty, said: "And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me."
He clarified for us in His Noble Book that He created man from clay.
Then He made his offspring from a despised fluid.
And that he shall return to Allah the Almighty.
And be resurrected after his death on the Last Day.
“And unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, that He may reward those who do evil with that which they have done, and reward those who do good with goodness.” (53:31)
“And unto Allah belongeth whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, that He may reward those who do evil with that which they have done, and reward those who do good with goodness.” (53:31)
So praise be to Allah for the blessing of Islam and the light of the Qur'an.
