O people, boasting about your abundance of money and numbers distracts you
About obedience to your Lord
And what will save you from His wrath upon you?
Until you went to the cemeteries and were buried there
This is evidence of the validity of the statement about the torment of the grave
No, this is not what you should do, lest you be distracted by reproduction
You will know if you visit cemeteries, people who are inspired by reproduction
Your actions and your preoccupation with multiplying in this world are devoid of obedience to your Lord
Then this is what you should do, lest you be distracted by the multiplication of money and the large number
You will know if you visit the cemeteries what you will find if you visit them
One of the hateful things is that you are distracted from obeying your Lord by multiplying
He repeated his saying, “No, you will know” twice
Because if the Arabs wanted to be more intimidating and threatening
Repeat the word twice
This is not what you should do, let reproduction distract you, people
If you people knew for sure
God will raise you on the Day of Resurrection after your death from your graves
How has multiplication distracted you from obeying God, your Lord?
You would hasten to worship Him and follow His commands and prohibitions
And reject the world out of fear for yourselves from its punishment
You will see hell
Then you will see it with the eye of certainty
Then on that day you will be asked about bliss
You polytheists will see Hell on the Day of Resurrection
Then you will see it with eyes that you will not lose sight of
Then on that day you will be asked about bliss
People of interpretation differed as to what that bliss is
Some of them said it is security and health
Others said that he had given them hearing, sight, and physical health
Others said it is wellness
Others said, “Rather, by that I mean some of what a person eats or drinks.”
Others said: “Everything that interests a person in this world.”
The correct thing to say is that God told that He is asking these people about bliss
He did not specify in his experience that he asked them about one kind of bliss without another
Rather, the news about that spread to everyone
He is asking them, as he said, about all bliss, not about some without others
