O Lord, if my sins have grown great in number, I have come to know that Your pardon is greater still; if only the righteous may hope in You,
then to whom shall the sinner turn for refuge and protection?
I call upon You, my Lord, as one who is humble and pleading,
and if You were to turn my hands away, who else would show me mercy?
I have no means of approach to You other than hope,
and the beauty of Your pardon, and the fact that I am a Muslim.
