The fundamental constants of the religion do not change with the passage of time, the change of place, or shifting circumstances.
The fundamental constants of the religion, as understood by the Ahl al-Sunnah,
are those which remain immutable regardless of time, place, or circumstance.
This includes matters of creed upon which the salaf of the Ummah have reached a consensus,
such as, for example,
the prohibition of shirk, which remains shirk regardless of how time or place may change.
Among these constants are also ethics and values,
for they are fixed and do not change.
Thus, immodesty, nudity, or adultery can never, at any point in time, become permissible or commendable acts.
