Surah Al-Ahqaf
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
I remember Aad's brother
When he warned his people about Al-Ahqaf
The vows came from before him and behind him
Do not worship anyone but God
I fear for you the torment of a great day
And mention, O Muhammad, to your people Hud, brother of Aad
God sent you to them like the one who sent him to Ad
When he warned his people of Aad with Al-Ahqaf
It is the rectangular sand
They are their homes
The messengers proceeded to warn their nations before Hud and after him
Do you not associate anything with God in your worship of Him?
I fear for you, people
For your worship of other than God, God will punish you on a great day
It is the Day of Resurrection
She said back to Hood
You have come to us, O Hood, to distract us from worshiping our gods
To worship what you call us to
Bring us the torment you prepare for us
If you are honest in what you say
He said, “Knowledge is with God.”
I will inform you of what I was sent with
But I see that you are an ignorant people
Hood said to his people
Knowing the time of the coming is only what I promise you
From the punishment of God from God
I only know what he taught me
But I am a messenger to you conveying information
I will inform you of the message he sent me
But I see that you are an ignorant people
Places of presence of yourselves
You do not know how harmful it is
By worshiping other than God
And in the haste of his torment
When they saw him projecting the future of their valleys

A smell in which there is a painful torment

Thus We punish the people of criminals

Nothing is seen in their country
Except for the homes they used to live in
Just as We have rewarded Aad with punishment in the present world
Thus We reward the people of the disbelievers in God
If they persist in their transgression and transgress against their Lord
We have empowered them in what we have empowered you in
And We made them a hearing
And We gave them hearing, sight, and hearts
Their hearing and sight were of no use to them
And they had nothing in their hearts since they denied
Because they denied the signs of God
And what they mocked befell them
O people, we have empowered Ad
In what We did not enable you to do in this world
Because of the abundance of money, the abundance of bodies, and the severity of bodies
And We made for them a hearing aid by which they may hear the promises of their Lord
And eyes with which they see the arguments of God
And hearts with which they understand what harms them and benefits them
What he gave them of hearing, sight, and heart did not benefit them
Because they did not use it to save them from God’s punishment
Because they were denying God's arguments
They are his messengers
What they mocked came back to them
And what they mocked befell them
So beware lest what happened to Aad happen to you
We have destroyed the villages around you
And We explained the verses so that they might return
O people, we have destroyed the villages around your village
Like the stone of Thamud, the land of Sodom, Ma'rib, and the like
We preached to them with various types of sermons and arguments
To return from what they were doing, to disbelieve in God and His signs
Had they not been helped by those who took gods as sacrifices other than God
Rather, they strayed from them
That is their best idea, and they were not inventing it
Had it not been for the victory of those whom we destroyed
Or the second one, the one whose worship they took as an offering
And whoever draws near to their Lord from us
When Our punishment comes to them, then You will save them from Our punishment
Rather, their gods left them and did not respond to them
That is the lie they were telling
They say these are our gods
He is what they used to invent and say
It brings us closer to God
She is our intercessor with God
And when We sent to you a group of jinn listening to the Qur’an
When they attended him, they said, “Listen.”
When it was decided, they turned to their people as warnings
And when We sent to you, O Muhammad, a group of jinn listening to the Qur’an
When they attended the Qur’an and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was reading
They said to each other
Listen to hear the Qur’an
When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, finished reciting the Qur’an
They departed, warning of God’s punishment for disbelieving in Him
Verifying what is before him, he guides you to the truth and to a straight path
They said, “Our people are jinn.”
We heard a book revealed after the book of Moses
He confirms the previous books of God that He revealed to His messengers
He guides you to the right path and to the path of foolishness
It is Islam
O our people, answer God’s caller and believe in Him and He will forgive you
He will forgive you of your sins and save you from a painful punishment
Whoever does not respond to God’s caller is not a miracle on earth
He is not a miracle on earth, and he has no guardians besides him
Those are in clear error
O our people, respond to the Messenger of God, Muhammad, to what he calls you to do in terms of obedience to God
And believe him in what he brought to you
Your Lord will protect you from your sins and cover them for you
He will save you from a painful torment if you repent of your sins
O people, who does not respond to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, Muhammad, to the Oneness of God?
It is not a miracle for his Lord to be dazzled by him if He wanted to punish him
He has no helpers besides his Lord to help him from God if He punishes him
Those who did not respond to God's caller intentionally oppressed the path
It shows those who contemplate it that it is a misguidance
Have these deniers not considered God reviving His creation after their death?
So they will see and know that it is God who created the seven heavens and the earth
He was not aware of their creation, so he was unable to invent them
He is able to revive the dead
He brings them out of their graves alive
He revives the dead and revives the dead
And he revives the dead
He brings them out of their graves alive
Yes
He has power over everything He created and wanted to do
He is powerful and nothing can make Him unable, nor can anything make Him weary
And the day those who disbelieve will be exposed to the Fire, is this not the truth?
They said, “Yes, by God.”
He said, “So taste the torment because you disbelieved.”
And the day those who deny the resurrection will be exposed to the Fire
They are told then
Isn't this the torment that you are tormenting while you used to deny the truth about it in this world?
These infidels answer
Yes, it is the truth, by God
The rapporteur told them so
So taste the torment of the Fire now for what you denied and denied in this world
So be patient as those of resolve among the messengers were patient, and do not rush them
It is as if, on the day they see what they are promised, they have only stayed for an hour of the day
Yes
Will only the disobedient people perish?
So be patient, O Muhammad, for the harm that befalls you for the sake of God
The most determined messengers were also patient in carrying out God’s command
Among his messengers whom he did not prohibit from influencing his command was the severity of it that befell them
And it was said
Those who have resolve are among them
They were the ones who tested God's essence in this world through tribulations
The tribulations only increased them greatly in God’s command
Like Noah, Abraham, Moses, and others like them
And do not hasten their punishment by asking your Lord
This will inevitably happen to them
It is as if they will see the day of the punishment of God, which He promises them that He will bring upon them
They only stayed in this world for an hour during the day
Because He makes them forget the severity of His torment that He will inflict on them for as long as they remained in this world
This Qur’an is a message to them and sufficient if they consider it
And it was said
That is a message to them in this world for their term
Will God destroy with His punishment when He sends it down except the people who disobeyed His command and disbelieved in Him?
