00:02:29.389 --> 00:02:32.389 What have you restrained yourself from? 00:02:32.389 --> 00:02:34.389 From what have you abstained? 00:02:34.389 --> 00:02:37.389 What ties have you maintained and what have you severed? 00:02:37.389 --> 00:02:40.389 What have you given and what have you withheld? 00:02:40.389 --> 00:02:43.389 For whom have you shown anger and for whom have you shown pleasure? 00:02:43.389 --> 00:02:45.650 This is the one who says. 00:02:45.650 --> 00:02:48.650 Our Lord, admit us into Paradise. 00:02:48.650 --> 00:02:50.650 While remaining exactly as he is. 00:02:50.650 --> 00:02:53.650 Having offered nothing for Paradise. 00:02:53.650 --> 00:02:57.650 Such a person adds a new sin to his existing sins. 00:02:57.650 --> 00:03:00.650 One of the scholars of the heart says. 00:03:00.650 --> 00:03:03.650 Patience is the cause for entering Paradise. 00:03:03.650 --> 00:03:05.650 He was asked, "How so?" 00:03:05.650 --> 00:03:10.650 He replied, "Because the Prophet, peace be upon him, says:" 00:03:10.650 --> 00:03:13.650 "Paradise is surrounded by hardships." 00:03:13.650 --> 00:03:16.710 "And the Fire is surrounded by desires." 00:03:16.710 --> 00:03:19.710 Therefore, you must be patient in the face of hardships. 00:03:19.710 --> 00:03:22.710 And you must be patient in the face of desires. 00:03:22.710 --> 00:03:25.710 Until you are permitted to enter Paradise. 00:03:25.710 --> 00:03:28.780 So, you who desire Paradise. 00:03:28.780 --> 00:03:31.780 Work for it and prepare its dowry. 00:03:31.780 --> 00:03:33.780 Strive for its sake. 00:03:33.780 --> 00:03:37.780 And beware of seeking it while you do not work for it. 00:03:37.780 --> 00:03:39.780 For we all desire Paradise. 00:03:39.780 --> 00:03:42.780 But Paradise requires action. 00:03:42.780 --> 00:03:45.780 And whoever thinks he can fly to Paradise. 00:03:45.780 --> 00:03:47.780 Without the wings of action. 00:03:47.780 --> 00:03:50.780 His thought is but a mirage. 00:04:28.120 --> 00:04:31.120 And life after it. 00:04:31.120 --> 00:04:35.120 If Allah wills a thing. 00:04:35.120 --> 00:04:40.120 He says to it, "Be," and it is.
