On the authority of ‘Abdullah ibn Abi Qatadah.
From his father, who said:
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said:
"The best things a man leaves behind after his death are three:
A righteous child who prays for him,
A continuous charity whose reward reaches him,
And knowledge that is acted upon after him."
