The descent of Gabriel and the King of the Mountains, peace be upon them
So God Almighty sent Gabriel, peace be upon him, to His Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace
And with him is the King of the Mountains, peace be upon him, seeking advice
The two sheikhs reported in their Sahihs
On the authority of the Mother of the Believers, Aisha, may God be pleased with her
She said to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
Has there ever come a day that was more difficult for you than the Day of Uhud?
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
I have received from your people what I have received
The worst thing I encountered from them was on the day of Aqaba
When I presented myself to Ibn Abd Yalil Ibn Abd Kalal
He did not answer me
So I set off with a worried face on my face
I did not wake up until I was at the fox's horn
So I raised my head
Then I saw a cloud that shaded me
So I looked and there was Gabriel
He called me and said:
God has heard what your people said to you, and they did not respond to you
The King of the Mountains has sent you to command him to do whatever you wish about them
Then the king of the mountains called me
He greeted me and then said
Oh Muhammad
And he said
Whatever you want
If you want, I can apply the wood to them
The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said
Rather, I hope that God will bring forth from their loins someone who will worship God alone
He does not associate anything with Him
Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir said
So what is the combination of this?
And what God Almighty said in this noble verse
Tell me if I have something you are in a hurry with
To settle the matter between you and me
And God knows best the wrongdoers
The answer is, and God knows best
That this verse
It indicates that if the torment they seek would befall him
If they ask for it
To set him up with them
As for the hadith
It does not mean that they asked him to inflict torment on them
Rather, he presented to them the King of the Mountains
That he wills
I close the wood on them
They are the two mountains of Mecca, so they surround it from the south and the north
That is why he took heed of them and asked for kindness towards them
The Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace, entered Mecca in the vicinity of Al-Mut’im Ibn Adi
The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, returned to Mecca
And his people were the most hostile and hostile towards him

He was compassionate towards the people of the people and reached out to them in secret
He is the one who hired the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace
When he returned from Taif
Until he performed Umrah
Al-Hafiz said in Al-Fath
His saying, may God bless him and grant him peace
I would have left them to him
That is, without redemption
