00:00:00,210 --> 00:00:04,530
Ramadan Hadiths

2
00:00:04,530 --> 00:00:09,740
Narrated 'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her:

3
00:00:09,740 --> 00:00:16,809
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon me one day and asked,

4
00:00:16,809 --> 00:00:18,870
"Do you have anything to eat?"

5
00:00:18,870 --> 00:00:20,899
We said, "No."

6
00:00:20,899 --> 00:00:23,100
He said,

7
00:00:23,100 --> 00:00:26,100
"In that case, I am fasting."

8
00:00:26,100 --> 00:00:29,320
Then he came to us on another day,

9
00:00:29,320 --> 00:00:32,320
and we said, "O Messenger of Allah,

10
00:00:32,320 --> 00:00:34,320
we have been gifted some *hays* (a sweet dish of dates, butter, and dried yogurt)."

11
00:00:34,320 --> 00:00:36,320
So he said,

12
00:00:36,320 --> 00:00:38,350
"Show it to me,

13
00:00:38,350 --> 00:00:41,350
for I had begun the day fasting."

14
00:00:41,350 --> 00:00:43,479
Then he ate from it.
