00:00:00.210 --> 00:00:04.530
Ramadan Hadiths

00:00:04.530 --> 00:00:09.740
Narrated 'A'ishah, may Allah be pleased with her:

00:00:09.740 --> 00:00:16.809
The Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, entered upon me one day and asked,

00:00:16.809 --> 00:00:18.870
"Do you have anything to eat?"

00:00:18.870 --> 00:00:20.899
We said, "No."

00:00:20.899 --> 00:00:23.100
He said,

00:00:23.100 --> 00:00:26.100
"In that case, I am fasting."

00:00:26.100 --> 00:00:29.320
Then he came to us on another day,

00:00:29.320 --> 00:00:32.320
and we said, "O Messenger of Allah,

00:00:32.320 --> 00:00:34.320
we have been gifted some *hays* (a sweet dish of dates, butter, and dried yogurt)."

00:00:34.320 --> 00:00:36.320
So he said,

00:00:36.320 --> 00:00:38.350
"Show it to me,

00:00:38.350 --> 00:00:41.350
for I had begun the day fasting."

00:00:41.350 --> 00:00:43.479
Then he ate from it.
